I didn't expect that this kind of thing would happen. Up till now, it had been a normal day for me, then this human starts attacking me. Turns out, instead of killing her, I had been just gentle enough to knock her out with my claw. The weird thing about this is, while she was knocked out, I decided to spare her. At least long enough so I could give her the trident and she would leave. Suddenly she woke up.

"You done trying to kill me?"

"Yes. That was probably the stupidest decision of my life." she replied. She gripped her ankles in pain.

"Are you okay, mademoiselle?"

"You almost give me a concussion, and you're asking if I'm okay? I'm fine, I just twisted my ankle on the way down." she said with a disgusted tone.

"Hey look, just so we're clear, I'm not going kill you. So you can stop trying to fight me for the trident." I threw her the weapon. She then looked confused, maybe even surprised.

"Why is that? I'd thought you would end up killing me had I not fought back."

"Look babe, I may be a monster, but I still have morals. Besides, you're a pretty human, probably the prettiest that came down here, so I decided that I'd keep you around." She blushed slightly and then responded.

"Thanks. So, I guess I should get to know my captor." she said sarcastically. "I am Kahawai, demigoddess of the river. And you are Tamatoa. Maui's told me quite a bit about you." We talked for what seemed like hours, mostly things about each other, then it fell silent.

"so, what are you going to do about escaping? You know, with your ankle being twisted."

"Honestly, Tama, I didn't think I would make it this far. I suppose, with my injury, I might have to stay down here. Is that okay?"

"Of course."
