*Peggy's POV*
The bell rang at 2:05 and I was glad to head home. I was the first to Angelica's car.
My sisters got there soon after and we headed home. I stayed silent, which my sisters didn't seem to notice; they made small talk with one another and didn't bother to include me... like always.
Once we pulled up in the drive way, I quickly undid my seat belt and opened the door, I then proceeded to rush inside.
I ran up the stairs and quickly ran into our room. I threw my bag down on the floor by my bed.
I flopped down and closed my eyes.
"They didn't even notice me! God, they're so boy crazy." I sighed silently to myself.
I hear a knock on the door and realize it's Eliza. "Pegs?" I hear her say behind the door.
*Eliza's POV*
I slowly walk into the room and take a seat next to Peggy. "Is everything alright?" I place my hand on her shoulder.
"I'm fine 'Liza, I'm just tired.."
Tired.. Riiiiiight..
I give her a look, I know her better than that. "Peggy, what's really wrong?" I push "I know you're not 'just tired'"
She gives me a look, but finally caves in. "It's like you and Angelica don't even notice me... it's like I'm the black sheep of the family, and I don't feel important!" She huffs.
I look at her sympathetically, I brush her hair out of her face and tuck it behind her ear.
"Pegs, I'm so sorry..." I say sadly "We don't mean it, I promise. We just... get caught up in the moment.."
She sighs "it's fine.." she says quietly.
I slowly get up from her bed and slowly make my way to my room, preparing for Alexander's arrival, with Peggy's confession stuck in the back of my mind.
*Angelica's POV*
I noticed that Peggy ran quickly upstairs to our room, but I couldn't have time to be bothered with it, and Eliza went up anyway.
I stayed downstairs to start working on my homework and organizing my things.
Senior year is not the year to mess up!
I remember that Eliza invited Alexander over, so I decided to quickly run into the kitchen and make some cookies.
I knew Eliza would've done it, but being the one who always cares, I knew she'd check on Peggy before doing anything else.
Alexander arrived exactly when he said he would.
I opened the door.
"Alexander, hi! Eliza is right up stairs. First door on the left. Just a fair warning we all share the room, but you shouldn't have a problem" I said with a smile as he entered and walked towards the stairs.
Back to homework! Just like that I found myself sitting back at the table, studying away.
