*Angelica's POV*
The weeks following the dance have been nothing but hectic. Especially in our household.
It's late November, meaning Thanksgiving and Christmas, are pretty much just around the corner. Our family, naturally went all out.
Mom and dad have been planning and prepping for dinners and parties, while I've been really focusing in on my academics.
Eliza is still trying to cope with being ditched at the dance, even though Alexander has apologized on numerous occasions. He's constantly texting, calling, stopping by the house, writing notes and letters to her.
She's accepted every apology, but this whole being ditched thing really effected her emotionally; it's made her more self conscious.
---
*beep, beep* I get up and yawn at the alarm clock going off, at. 5:30, like always.
I walk over to Eliza's bed and shake her gently "Eliza, come on sweetie. You gotta get ready." I said softly and kissed her head. She smiled at me and got up, yawning as she walked over to the bathroom.
I then head to Peggy's bed, noticing she wasn't there. This has been happening a lot. She's been waking up before I have, which is unusual.
I shrug it off and walk into the closet, grabbing my clothes. I got changed and headed downstairs for a quick bite to eat.
As a sit at the island in the kitchen, I notice Peggy sitting across from me, frantically doing homework. I laugh to myself.
"Peggy? What are you doing?" I ask.
She jumps and looks up at me "oh, I just forgot to do my homework, silly me." She said and continued to frantically scribble down words.
---
We arrive to school and Peggy quickly gets out of the car, running inside the building.
I sighed and shook my head.
Why is she acting so strange lately?
I make my way into school, wanting this week to be over already. It's the week, we'll, not even full week before Thanksgiving break. It's literally a three day week.
As I walk in, I notice Alexander standing in the middle of the hallway, standing on a bench, with flowers looking for Eliza.
Eliza walked in behind me, and looked up when I tapped her shoulder.
Alexander approached us.
"Eliza, I know I messed up, big time. But, you're beautiful and I love you. And I'm sorry I left, I got nervous." He said and handed her the flowers.
A large smile crept across Eliza's face as she accepted the flowers and an apology kiss.
Well. They're back together.
I was looking around the crowd at all the people, and noticed Maria.
She shook her head and walked away as Eliza and Alex kissed.
Something is up with that girl, and I plan to find out.
*Kinda wordy. This is sorta a filler chapter. Happy reading! -Matthew.*
