*Eliza's POV*
I heard Angelica at the door downstairs welcoming Alexander to our home. I quickly sprung out of my chair and adjusted my hair and outfit.
Once I was calm and collected, I noticed Peggy was still moping on her bed. I go over to her and gently shake her.
"Peggels, I need you to go downstairs. Go help mom or talk with Angelica. Or do whatever. Just please, I need the room!" I said and pulled her off her bed and pushed her towards the door.
As Peggy left the room, Alexander entered.
I felt my face get warm.
Oh no, you're blushing
I tried to hide my blush to the best of my ability.
"Hey. Welcome to my home!" I said with a smile to Alexander who simply just smiled.
I smiled and led the way to my desk.
"So, what do you need help with again?" I asked, leaning against the wall.
"It's just some stupid music class but I need it to graduate. It's piano." He stated, tiredly.
I laughed and got up.
"Well, lucky for you, I just happen to play the piano!"
He smiled and I then proceeded to lead the way to the music room.
He sat at the piano bench and I hesitantly joined him.
I played a simple melody that was a pattern of nine different notes.
I then looked at Alexander.
"Do what I just did.."
He put his hands on the keys and played notes. They were completely different, but it's a start.
A slow, slow, start.
I let out a small laugh.
"No, like this.." I showed him again.
He shook his head and started to get upset.
I took a step back.
"Alexander... it's alright.." I said quietly.
"No! Eliza! It's not! If I don't get this,
I'll never graduate!"I sighed and looked at him.
"Here, give me your hand"
He placed his hand in mine and I turned his hand so it was on the keys.
I placed my hand gently on top of his and did the pattern again.
"Not that hard, right?" I said with a smile after he completed it.
"You're amazing, you know that, right?" He said and kissed my hand.
I smiled and looked into his eyes.
"You know, Eliza. There's a dance coming up, and I was wondering if you maybe wanted to join me in going? As my date?" He asked, with slight blush appearing on his face.
I smiled brightly and nodded.
"Alexander, I would love to be your date!"
Time passes, and it's time for Alexander to head home. I lead him towards the door and we exchange goodbyes. Before he leaves, he kisses my cheek then heads out of the home. I close the door after he exits and I lean against it.
I look for Peggy, I feel bad for treating her negatively earlier.
After finding her, I find her perched In front of a computer screen.
Shopping, of course.
I silently giggle to myself as I approach her, I notice something peculiar.
Red? Why is she looking at red clothing? She never wears that color. I think to myself.
I walk to her side and give her a strange look. "Red? You never liked red clothing. You said that it wasn't your color." I point out matter-of-factly.
She jumps dramatically and looks at me like a deer caught in headlights. "Wha-what?" She stutters. "Oh this? It's um- It's just for dance!" Peggy insists.
I look at her strangely. "If you say so..." I say, letting it slide as I walk away.
