"She was Luca's fiancée T." I gasped as I heard him say the word. I looked at him in disbelief.

"Was?" I asked curiously, not believing what my brother was saying.

"She died."

"But..but our cousin, Chiara, she doesn't look like her and she's still alive Gab. This is impossible!" I spat, feeling a pang of nausea hitting me. This is all too much for me to handle.

" The Chiara that you knew and that Chiara from Luca's past are two different person T." He said with an expression I can't quite fathom.

"What are yo-" I was cut off when the door on my side was suddenly opened.

"A apologize for interrupting mam but we have already arrived." The driver said. Great.

"Were not done yet." I told my brother as I step out of the car.

"We are far from that actually." He mumbled behind my back.

After a very satisfying lunch, my brother took me shopping. He was great at this, I always wonder how he hadn't been made a girl since he was so good at shopping than me. Hell, he even accompanied me to the Victoria Secret's store. All the eyes were on him, the usual.

"I'm so exhausted." I said as I slammed the car door shut behind me. Two dozen shopping bags later, my brother and I had enough so he basically just ushered me towards the car.

"I didn't even break a sweat." He smirked.

"I'm sorry if shopping is like brushing your hair while it's like doing an HIIT workout for me." I huffed , trying to get much air as possible. I hate shopping.

My brother gave a hearty chuckle and I rolled my eyes.

"Are we going straight to the hotel?" I asked my brother.

"Actually about that..." He trailed off then a familiar sight welcomed me when I turned my head towards the window.

"What the hell are we doing at the airport Gab?"

"Home T, we're going home."

Home. I don't even know if still want to go there. I don't think I can handle anymore revelations this family has hidden away from me.

"Don't you want to go home? Wait, don't tell me you're going to miss Luc-" Before he could even finish, my hands had already landed on his forehead.

"Shut it, will you?" I glared at him. He gave me a teasing smile and I frowned back.

"I thought Luca and you hit it off already?" He asked, still trying to tease me.

"There is nothing going on between Luca and me." I assured him but he still has teasing smirk plastered on his face.

"Wait, what about my things?"

"Don't worry. They're already on the plane. Come on" He offered his hand for me as I step out of the car.

Hours later, I found myself sitting in our huge family table with my whole family. The air was intense and nobody seems to want to break the ice. We arrived at our estate for about an hour ago. My mom was hysterical when she saw me. She even examined every inch of me for bruises or whatever. My dad, he just hugged me and asked if I was alright. They let me take a shower and change first and gave me an ample amount of time to rest.

"So, what do you want to know?" My father started, breaking up the dead silence surrounding the room.

"Everything." I muttered.
