"Good morning beautiful," Arthur whispers as I sigh and lift my head off of his chest. He carefully pushes it back down, his hand running through my tangled hair.

"What?" I ask suspiciously as he smiles down at me.

"What do you mean darling?"

"Why are you smiling like that?"

"Because," he begins as his finger traces my shoulder blades, "My father has given me the day off to do with as I please, and I want to spend it with you. Just the two of us."

"Really?" I say hopefully as I turn and look at him once more. Finally I might get to spend some time with my husband. We've only been married a few weeks, and yet I feel as if I've seen him less despite spending every night with him.

"I was thinking we could lie in bed a little longer, have breakfast when we feel like it and not rush, and then go out for a ride. Somewhere quiet, peaceful. Somewhere only we know." He winks as he says this and I know exactly where he means.

There's this clearing beside a river - the trees are fifty feet tall and the water is crystal clear. The ground is very flat and it's perfect to lie on. The river is about knee depth and on a good day, there are tiny fish that swim up and down it in large groups. It's one of the most beautiful places I've ever seen. If you look down the river to the South then you can see the tips of the towers of the castle in Camelot, and to the north are a line - East to West - of mountains, each with it's own snow capped peak and personality. Arthur and I always go there to get away from life in the Citadel.

"That sounds ideal," I say happily.

"Have I ever told you how beautiful you are in the morning?" Arthur asks.

"Every morning. Without fail."

"Then permit me to tell you again."

"That you think I'm beautiful?"

"There is no think about it. You are the most beautiful woman in the world - anyone would be lucky to have you and the girls want to be you. I'm not good enough to be with soneone like you. You're a angel, a queen, a goddess, and it is my belief that all should adore you."

"They say beauty is in the eyes of the beholder."

"But some things are universally beautiful, like a lake surrounded by mountains. And you. Ask anyone and they will tell you that you are not one of the most beautiful -you are the most beautiful girl anyone has ever laid eyes on."

"Arthur,"

"Yes?"

"Will you ever stop flattering me?"

"Never."

It was a stupid question. Of course he won't. I know that he's desperately in love with me and I'm his whole reason for existence. But he is mine. I don't know where I would be without him. If any harm were to come to my Arthur, any at all, I would be beside myself.

"I love you Arthur, you know that?"

"I love you too, my goddess. Now rest again."

I lean up and kiss my husband before resuming my position on his chest. I close my eyes as I feel Arthur begin to play with strands of my hair, my head rising and falling at the command of Arthur's steady breathing. Soon it rocks me back into a deep and long sleep.

*A/n: That is actually kinda short, but I wanted to keep it fluffy so short kinda plays into my favour. Anyway this was for Outoftea aka my main source for ideas in this book so massive shoutout to her (Plus I hope this was okay for you!). But thank you for reading etc and I'll see you whenever I update this one next.
