My alarm clock went off, waking me up. I looked out my window, seeing the misty morning out on the wet green. I got out of my bed. I walked down the spiral stairs to the main floor of the dorm room. I trudged to the bathroom, and washed my face in the cold water. Once I brushed my teeth and other things, and went out to wake up Benni. She slept with her eye mask in hot pink blankets and pillows. I poked her ribs, and she let out a groan.

"Ten more minutes." I tutted to her response, and pulled her off the bed. Once on the edge, I puled her off, and let her fall on the floor. She groaned louder now.

She got up and came at me with her painted nails.

"You, bitch!" I laughed and ran around to avoid her claw-like fingers. She finally stopped and went to the bathroom. I changed into my uniform. I put on my pair of brown combat boots. I tied my hair into a side fishtail braid. Benni finally got out of the bathroom with her uniform on. Her hair straightened and a bunny clip held her bangs out of her face. We got our bags, got our umbrellas and headed out.

Once in the misty courtyard, we walked to the small building to the right of the fenced school property. Once inside the well-lit cafeteria, Benni went up to the line to get our food. I took out my iPod and turned the song- The City is At War, Cobra Starships.

From the corner of my eye, I could see the streaks red hair. They stopped at the front of my table and stood there. I took off my earphones and stood up and came face to face with the three Redheads.

"Can I help you? It seems like your bird-sized brains couldn't hold the information on where your table is." I tilted my head to the side and smiled sweetly. They looked at each other and bursted out laughing like birds.

"No thanks, we know exactly where we are, the center of Loser Land." They continued to laugh and I felt large loose arms hug onto me from the back.

"Mari, what are they doing here?" Brody leaned his head on my shoulder inspecting the girls. His sweet voice softened the girls and they finally stopped their bird calls. They smiled to Brody.

"Brody, why do you hang out with the bitches?" Mickey asked. I felt Brody tightened his grip on my shoulders. His dark laughter started to come up, changing the mood of the room dramatically.

"Why do I hang out with the bitches?!" He started at the Reds.

"The better thing to say is why would I ever go near you bitches." I patted his arm trying to calm him down.

"DonÕt listen to them. They don't know what friends are anyway." They start to steam with anger. They left us for their popular table, earning a laugh from the bad boy, Ray. He waved to our table and cupped his hands around his mouth.

"Thanks for the show!" Brody started to move for Ray, but I solemnly put my hand out, blocking him from moving.

"Don't bother, it's not worth it anyway." I smirked at Ray. He glares right back at me, and I can see the muscle in his jaw tense. I sat Brody back down at our table as Benni walks to our table with our trays I stood to get the silver ware. At the counter, Ray stands up and walks over to me.

"Got the brave act today, don't you." He smirked. I turned to him and giggled.

"Your such a flirt." His eye flickered for a second, but then went back to their cold smirk. I traced a heart on his heart on his chest and pulled his head toward me and whispered in his ear.

"Don't be an ass, it'll sets off the wrong impression." I moved away, picked the silver ware up and left. At our table, everyone ate silently, except for Benni babbling about her next video. Benni being herself had her own Youtube channel. She had already 1.5 Million subscribers and had done one Tour already with the British. Although I was with her, Brody and I mainly hung out when she was doing her talking.

The bell rung, and everyone started to clean up. The bell told us there was 15 minutes to 1st period. Brody was in charge of putting away the plates, and me and Benni waved bye, going separate ways to first class.

I walked at a fast pace. Making sure that no one was watching, I walked into the old boys bathroom, and put on a pair of leggings under my skirt. Once out on the courtyard side walk, I went out onto the wet bench next to the window of above. Making sure no one was in my way, I ran for the bench, and at the end, jumped. I went flying for a few seconds, and then caught hold of windowsill. Swinging my legs, I pulled myself up, and swung into the window. I landed lightly on my feet, and looked up to the class. It was mostly empty except for Mickey, Jay and other girl. They looked surprised at my enterance.

"Quick, someone tell me the time." They continued to stare, silently .

"Quickly, will you!" Jay was the first to look away. He looked at his iPod for the time.

"7:43." I fist pumped the air. Just then, Brody came tumbling in, and with him, his pile of messy messenger bag. I walked over to him and danced around him.

"Brody, guess what! Brody, guess what!" His face was red, and he finally picked up all his papers.

"What!" He copied my childish voice.

"I made a new record. I got up here in 3. 32 minutes faster!" He clapped for me. And then laughed.

"I tried a different window today. And bad choice, it was the girls' restroom." We both end up laughing. We sit towards the back by the windows, a row after Jay and the girl. I sat by the window, and looked out the window. 1 more month of school, and then summer break.
