SKYLERS POV

I woke up to my phone ringing. I quickly rushed out of the theatre to answer the call, it was my moms number.

PHONE CALL;
S- hello?
M- hello Skyler, this is Dr. Francis. I'm work at the town hospital. Your parents unfortunately got into a fatal car accident and they didn't make it. You can stop by later for your house keys so you can get everything from the house but I'm sorry for your loss.
S- it's okay. Thank you..

I ended the call and immediately started crying. Case must've heard me sobbing from the theatre because he ran out of the theatre doors and gave me a super tight hug.

"What happened"
"Nothing..."
"Something happened Sky"
"Fine.. I just got a call from my moms number and it was a nurse... my parents got into an accident and- they died.."
"I'm so sorry sky"

He pulled me in for another hug and I cried into his shoulder.

"Let's get an uber and go back to my house, okay?"
"Okay but on the way we need to stop at the hospital to get the house keys so I can get my stuff and everything."
"Sounds like a plan"

Case kissed my forehead and called an uber to come pick us up.

*skips to being at Cases house*

I got the keys from the hospital and we headed back to Cases house.

"Sky I'm gonna tell my mom everything that happened and see if you can stay with us for now."
"Okay thank you"

He walked out of the room and I just decided to go on my phone. I open it to see that Nathan, Jonas, and Weston were texting in the chat.

Sky💋; cool and cool I just wanna know the news tehe

Sky💋; GET TO THE POINT
Jonas🤙🏻; I have 3 plane tickets for me, Nathan, and weston to fly up by you guys in Colorado!!
Nathan☠️; FOR REALZIES

Sky💋; YAY DAD

I put my phone down and see Case walk in.

"So my mom said you can stay here for a while" a big smile appeared on his face.
"Yay, and I have good news too"
"OOO I like news spill it"
"I was in the chat when u we're talking to ur mom and Jonas bought plane tickets for him, Weston, and Nathan to come visit us!!"
"OOOOO IM EXCITED"
"Me too. But I'm tired so can we go to bed?"
"Of course"

Case turned on Stranger Things and I let sleep take over me.
