One month in the hospital. I never thought I would miss my bed so much. And sex.
Doctor- okay David are you ready to talk again
I nod my head yes

I woke up with Liza holding my hand I smiled at her
L- I miss you smiling
Doctor- you should be okay to talk David just no solid foods and we are going to continue to watch you closely. I'll leave you alone with your wife
L- okay David talk
I swolled and opened my mouth nothing came out at first.
D- I don't know what to say
L- that's your first words really
D- fine I love you
L- I love you too
I lean in and kissed her
L- I missed kissing you
D- more importantly lock the door and close the curtains
L- the kids are coming
D- that's why I said lock the door

L- one more day isn't going to kill you
I frown and she kisses my cheek
L- you need to shave
D- I kind of like the beard
L- no shave it
D- I can't wait to go home tomorrow I'm so sick of sitting in this fucking bed
L- you'll be sitting in our bed

Liza blushed and I just laughed

He jumped up on the bed and sat under my arm
D- I'm home tomorrow night so we should all do something as a family
T- like go karting
D- no I can't do that

L- davids not going to be doing anything fun for awhile
E- he almost died Toby
T- I know
E- he can't go go karting or anything crazy he will barley be able to go up and down stairs
D- that's why I'm going to make my home on the couch
L- the couch?
D- your so tiny you can't carry me up the stairs
E- that's why we moved your room

L- main floor suite

L- I know David I'll take the kids home and I'll see you tomorrow when I come back

I kissed her lips and she left. I got comfy in my bed. This is going to be a long night.
