Liza POV
I didn't go home. I don't want to leave them. My mom took the kids home. I don't want them to see him like this. I was alone. Was I going to be a single mom?

David POV

I really wanted to see her little bump. She was crying. I just wanted to get up and wipe the tears away.
She held my hand. Come on David Anthony dobrik you can do this just squeeze her hand. I squeezed her hand. Yes.
L- David did you just squeeze my hand?
Yes Liza I did come on David do it again. I did it again
She jumped back and called a nurse.
Nurse- I'm sorry honey but he's in coma he cannot squeeze your hand.
L- put your hand here he will do it again
She sounded so joyful.
The nurse touched my hand and I squeezed it
Nurse- let me call a doctor alright

Liza POV
The nurse ran out of the room and went to grab a doctor
Doctor- okay so he squeezed both of your hands?
Nurse- yes sir
Doctor- let's take him down to CT and we will see if there is brain activity alright
Nurse- okay
Doctor - mrs. Dobrik we are going to check to see if there is brain activity. There's a 90% chance that it's just a muscle flitch it happens sometimes. But the ct will tell us more alright
L- okay I'll wait here
They took him out of the room and I sat back down and put my hand on my belly. I want him here for this. I don't want to do this without him. In half an hour the doctor comes back
Doctor- great news mrs. Dobrik there is tons of brain activity we are going to try to medically wake him up
I smile to myself. Thank you god.
Doctor- do you want to take mrs. Dobrik out of the room Wanda.
Nurse- of course
She took me down the hall and I sat Anxiously. I sent a group message to everyone to let them all know the news then I shut off my phone. I herd David scream. Many times the sounds are so heart breaking. The nurse came running out to me
Nurse- hes a very lucky man. They are taking him to surgery to repair his jaw and his leg. From our cts his spine looks alright and he should be okay and fully recovered with in 12 weeks
I give her a hug
L- thank you so much
Nurse- oh how far along are you?
L- a couple of weeks
Nurse- like I said he's a very lucky man
I was crying happy tears. I turned on my phone and updated the group.

Liza : David woke up he's in surgery. He's going to be okay.

He's going to be okay. I took a deep breath and sat down in the chair in the wait room.
