Tameka's POV
"She's gonna cuss me out" I said regretting my decision. "I'm leaving""No" she said ringing the doorbell.
"Fuck"
"See you haven't changed much Tameka" Oh shit. I haven't seen her in 5 years and when she sees me I'm cussing on her door step.
"Hi mom""Hello Tameka" she said walking off. "Come in don't act like you didn't use to live here"
"Angel who was at the--Tammy!"
"Dad" I yelled running into his arms.
"I missed you so much. Trina you said she gained a little weight, but not this much! Your out here lookin like your mother when she was young." He said whispering the last part.
"I heard that frank!" My mother yelled from the kitchen. Now or never I thought.
"Trina, Dad I'm gonna go talk to mom"
"Ok" Trina said walking towards the living room.
"Don't hold anything back hunny.. she loves you she's just--
"Stubborn" we both said at the same time
"Love you see you in bit" he said kissing my forehead.
I walked into the kitchen. "Hey ma what you making." She was in the middle of chopping up some peppers and looked up and said:
" I was making Fried Chicken, Macaroni & Greens, but I guess I'll make a pork chop too... I know you don't like Friend Chicken." She went back to chopping peppers""Ma"
"Yes Tameka"
"Can we talk?"
"Sure" She said putting her Knife down.
"I'm sorry for storming out 5 years ago."
"It's fine I forgive you" She went back to cutting, but I could tell she was still mad.
"Ma Jaleel love--"
"I don't care about you being with the drug dealer anymore he kept you alive and well I see now!" She yelled throwing her Knife down.
"Well what's your problem.. Why are you still mad" I asked agitated.
"You never called!!" She was right. "You know I would've never forgiven myself if something would've happen to you! I never had any confirmation that you were ok until your father got in touch with Trina." She said crying.
"Ma I'm so sorry" I was crying too. I ran to do something I hadn't done in 5 years... I hugged my mother!
