I woke up to the sound of Ayako and Masako arguing over something. My eyes slowly opened, seeing them by the door yelling at each other. I didn't bother to even ask so I got up and went to get dressed.

As I got out of the bathroom, they were gone. "No wonder why it got quiet"

I dragged myself down the hallway, my skin feeling hot for being nervous. I shook my head.
"Don't let it bother you, Mai! You've been through a lot of tough things in your life so don't let this drag you down" I encouraged myself, which honestly didn't even help at all.

I met everyone right at the cellar door which was located in the back of the kitchen.

"We rarely go down here" Klara said, keeping balance on her cane. "Please be careful"

With those words, we headed down. I cringed at the loud creaking noise each step had made. I hid myself in my dark blue hoodie, examining all the cobwebs and dirt that seemed to cover down the entire walls, ceiling, and floor.

"That's the hallway" I muttered, keeping my flashlight down the hall.
They nodded to me and went down it. Shivers went down my spine, I begun to have intense flashbacks of my dream- I stopped.

Figures, Naru caught me. He turned around, held my wrist and dragged me along.
"If this is going to scare you because of last night, you should have just stood upstairs"
At first, I thought Naru was mad, but the way he said it, his tone was soft and more of sounding like he cared.

Once we entered the room, I noticed something different.
"It's way smaller than the room in my dream.."

"It does seek quite odd to have such a large home with this very odd small basement" John said.

"Cause.. The woman was right here" I walked to the spot to show them. "But the man was over beyond that wall, it was right in the middle of the room"

Monk went over and put his ear up against the stone wall, then begun to tap it for a couple of seconds.
"It's hollow" he said. "So Mai is right, there is a room here"

"Ayako" Naru called out.

"Yes?"

"You and Mai go ask if we have permission to break the wall over here. It seems he has the right tools we need"
The boy picked up a couple of pickaxes that were sitting on a bench.
"There's only four but me, Lin, and Monk will do it"

"Come on, Mai" Ayako ran up the stairs, I followed. Once I entered back into the kitchen, my body left the coldness and anxiety; going back to comfort.

"Excuse me" I hesitantly said.

"Yes? What is it?" Klara put down a velvet red book on the table, staring intently at me.

"We were wondering if.. We can break a hole in the wall where it was closed off. For work and stuff" I glanced back at Ayako, she just sat there at the doorway.

"Uh.. Yes? Yes.... You may! I'm so happy that you're doing that, I hated when they made it small. Even a small hole to climb in and out would be perfectly fine"

"Alright, thank you"
I turned then swiftly walked out, pulling Ayako with me.

"You sensed that too right?" She asked me.

"The weird feeling from Klara? Yeah. It was kind of obvious once she started to get very energetic? I guess that's a way to put it"

...

The guys started hitting the wall, loud clanking knows rang through the small room. I was huddled by the door, trying to keep myself inside my hoodie for where it was terribly cold down there.
