Elisia's POV
Well, it was now January and had been about a month since the party when the group chat exploded with messages with Michael and Calum, asking us if we wanted to all hang out and meet Luke and Ashton.
We had quickly agreed to meeting them in a couple days, which is now today, and Lia and I were just finishing up getting ready when we heard a car honk. I was so happy, I   got to dress Lia however I wanted so I decided she'd dress similar to how I dress! Unfortunately as a compromise, she gets to pick my outfit which ever day she wants, bleh.
Soon enough we arrived at a cute, little, not-very-well-known cafe. I instantly awed at how cute it was and they all laughed at my randomness...well Michael glared like always. I'm not sure why he doesn't like me; I'm an extremely lovable person. Well maybe it's because I'm just too fabulous for his taste.
We walked in and two heads turned towards us.
"Oh great! You're here! You must be the music rambler and the very-annoying-that-doesn't-seem-too-annoying person," Luke stated. We look at each other and Liana started laughing so hard she started crying. I   looked at them with an 'excuse me?' face with one eyebrow raised.
"I'm not sure who has the worst nickname. And were you told I was annoying but don't seem annoying, or were you told I was annoying and you don't think I seem annoying?" I asked goofily.
"Second one." Ashton replied. Liana finally calmed down and broke the silence since we all stared at her.
"What? I'm coolio and the jets!" Liana said as she snapped and did the gun symbol with her hands.
I face palmed, and shook my head disappointingly.
"Lia please, I've told you that you can't say that, it's not accurate...or cool. It's not the right weird." And I chuckled.
I looked up and saw Luke staring at Liana with an amused look and the others just looked at her weirdly. The word weird is used in too many different ways.
We all laughed at the situation before going to sit in a booth. After we ordered I tried having a conversation with Ashton but he didn't seem too into it. He seemed to zone out or look at me weirdly and I   didn't understand why. What did I do? Did I say something annoying or too weird? I   questioned myself, I  t made me start to feel insecure, and that's not something I do often anymore.

Liana's POV
I'm not sure what was going on with the friction between Michael and Ellie, or why Ashton was awkward towards her, almost bordering on rude. But I did know that I was going to get answers soon. I wasn't going to let my best friend and sister feel uncomfortable around these boys, when she's done nothing to them.
I wasn't going to bring it up then, because Ellie was there and  I wanted to make sure that the situation was dealt with, with as much honesty as possible.
Anyway, after we all finished eating, we decided to head out and explore some new places that the boys knew of. Of course, they were going to be accompanying us.
We decided to go paintballing, so we needed regular black clothes, especially since I was wearing white pants. We stopped by the boys' place of living, which was Luke's apartment in LA (have we mentioned that the party was in West Hollywood?). Anyway, once they were more casually dressed, we drove to Ellie's and mines place, which took about five or ten minutes. Once we were all dressed, the drive to the paintball range was official.
I was ridiculously excited to use a paintball gun, because I had never gone paintballing or even laser tagging before. I   was bouncing ever so slightly in the middle seats (since the boys had a van, with Ellie on my left and Michael was behind me, along with Luke. Ashton was driving and Calum was beside him.
I heard chuckling from behind me, and turned to see Luke laughing while watching me bounce with excitement.
I groaned, slightly embarrassed by myself.
"Don't judge me, Hemmings," I laughed.
"I'm not judging!" He defended, crossing his arms.
"Don't lie to me, I can smell your judgment." Luke glared at me as I glared playfully.
"That might be me, because I'm judging you!" Ellie butted in, smirking at me, knowing that I was going to glare back at her.
"No, I think it's one of the boys I'm smelling, because it smells like hair product."
"Damn," Michael dragged out, emphasizing Luke's burn.
"Perhaps it's hair dye," I added, looking back at Michael.
Michael's face fell into a pout, and out of the corner of my eye I saw Luke smirking out of amusement.
"We're here!" Ashton shouted, obviously excited.
"We should do teams," Calum suggested as we all jumped out the car. It was agreed upon quickly so we started to split up.
"We can do two groups of three or three groups of two," Ashton suggested.
We decided to go with the first option, because I had never gone paintballing, so I   was an ametur, and because Ellie had only gone once or twice a while back, so she was pretty inexperienced too. Michael and Ashton took me into their group, and so it was us versus Calum, Luke, and Ellie. I squinted my eyes at my sister and smirked. She met me gaze and mouthed the words "You're going down."
