Liana's POV

I woke up the next morning and it was only like 5am. Luke was still over, and Ellie had came home around midnight or so with a big ass smile on her face and a promise to tell me all the details later on that day. Other than that, no one else was home, which was unusual considering the 5SOS boys were almost always over. I wanted to put on some makeup but I honestly didn't feel like putting my energy into it right them, so I just hoped I didn't look like a monster. I thought I would try writing some music, so I had my paper, a pen, and my ukulele. I was just strumming and thinking of potential lines when Luke came down and sat beside me. He flipped through my papers, seeing that they were all blank. Luke thought for a second and wrote down a line, and I loved it.

A little later on, I decided to make breakfast. Luke had left to shower and change and he promised to return around 11 a.m. with the rest of the boys. I cut up some fruit and put it all on a bowl with a pair of tongs and started to make french toast.

I could hear Elisia with all her energy thunk down the stairs, and when she emerged from around the corner, she had a huge smile on her face. I smiled back, knowing how giddy she was feeling.

"Tell me everything," I chuckled, continuing to make food.

"It was so fun dude!" Ellie exclaimed, dragging out the 'so'. "Well, Ashton told me we were going to the pier but when we arrived I realized that we were nowhere near a pier. Ashton pulled out a picnic basket and I realized I had been bamboozled," Ellie laughed along with me. "Anyway, it was so fun dude, and I don't know where the two of us are going to go, emotionally, I mean, but I hope to get a second date!" My sister smiled up at me, obviously happy about her date and her current status with Ashton. She sat on the table bench, and leaned back, so I could no longer see her. I heard her let out a sigh, as I put a new piece of bread on the pan. "I think I really like him..."

"And I think he really likes you!" I said, matter-of-factly.

I heard a car roll up, and within a second, a group of guys talking. Ellie went to the front door, ready to greet them all. I was just about done with the food, so I pulled down some plates, syrup, and powdered sugar. Luke came up behind me and gave me a peck on the cheek, causing me to grin. I remembered that I hadn't put on makeup and got a little panicked, but it was too late to go upstairs and do.

Everyone took a plate and some food before sitting at the table and becoming engrossed in the conversation.

Suddenly Michael went off tangent: "So I heard things went well last night Ellie," Ellie stopped eating and looked like a deer caught in headlights, "Anything interesting happen?" Michael winked.

I looked at Ellie with a face of confusion, and she seemed even more perplexed. Ashton also seemed a little caught off guard before interrupting the awkward silence.

"That's not what I meant when I said it went well!" Ashton laughed, smacking Michael upside the head.

We all burst into laughter, realizing the full situation. Ellie looked happy to hear that the date went well for Ashton too.

For the rest of the day, we all watched movies that ranged from 101 Dalmatians to Spiderman to Ouija. Ashton and Ellie kept falling asleep on each other. Michael texted his girlfriend, who I suspected he was going to propose to soon. Calum was playing games on his phone when he wasn't sucked into the movie. And Luke would randomly cuddle me, or fall asleep on my lap.

Eventually I had to pee, so I moved Luke's head carefully, and made my way upstairs. When I came out of the bathroom, I wiped my washed hands against my pants, making a mental note to do laundry for towels soon. I saw the sticky note that Luke had left me our ago and read it, realizing that it was the same line that he had written for a lyric earlier. He's too sweet to me, aww.

I grabbed my ukulele, making sure it was in tune, and the paper with Luke and I's writing scribbled onto it.

"Bright lights won't ever outshine you

The day was fairly simple, but it was perfect. I had never been more happy or comfortable in my life. It was the first time ever, where I felt like I had real friends who loved and appreciated me, and who I loved to be around all the time. It was the first time I had been in a relationship that didn't feel rushed, or faked. Nothing could better or worsen this feeling.
