Falling for you

Chapter 11

"Dinah, I can't tell if you're being serious or just being stupid" Camila joked, pulling out one more book from her locker closing it shut. "I mean, I told the dude that I like someone else, and it's not him," she told as she and Dinah made their way to class.

"Mila, look all I'm saying is-"

"Hey, guys," Lauren said appearing next to Camila, carelessly throwing her arm around Camila's shoulder as they walked. Camila quickly looked to Dinah asking her what to do. Dinah however, just nodded her head giving her a thumbs up making Camila blush. "Whatcha guys talking about?" Lauren asked looking at Camila.

"I was explaining to Mila here" Dinah started, pinching Camila's cheeks. "How I think Shawn is going to ask her out again since they've been spending so much time together"

Instantly Lauren demeanour changed. She slowly withdrew her arm from around Camila's shoulders, walking a bit behind them now.

"..W-what.. would make you say that?" She asked clearing her throat, so they couldn't hear the hurt in her voice. "I mean they're friends and friends hang out all the time" she excused. "Plus camz doesn't like him, isn't that right?" Lauren questioned looking at Camila mentally hoping that she would agree with her.

"Yea, exactly" Camila agreed. Lauren let out a long breath of relief due to the fact, that Camila didn't see Shawn in that way. "He's merely a good friend to me" she smiled as her eyes met Lauren's green eyes. "Dinah just likes to play matchmaker, even though she sucks at it" she joked.

"Hey!" Dinah said hitting her on the arm. "I'm quite good at playing matchmaker, thank you very much"

"Yet Lauren and Normani didn't last" Camila countered, though she wasn't complaining at all. Call her crazy, but she still has hope that Lauren will come to her senses and realize the girl she has been searching and looking for has been the girl who lives with her. Though they're family, STEP-sisters nonetheless.

"Hey you can't blame me for that one," she said as they turned the halls squeezing past people. "That was all lauser over there" she pointed.

"Guilty" Lauren shamefully smiled raising a hand. "But in my defence, I started to catch feelings for someone else"

Camila mentally hoped that somehow someway Lauren was speaking about her and her feelings for her, but that thought went away quickly just as it came because reality hit her. After all, Lauren is her sister, but it's night her fault that she feels this way.

"Oh, what a shame," Camila told her, watching as Dinah bumped into Ally.

"Nah, she just wasn't the one for me. I think I know someone who is though" Camila quickly took her eyes away from Dinah and Ally to look at her. Lauren's face was painted with a smirk on her lips.

Brown eyes staring into those dangerous green eyes. So badly, Lauren at that moment wanted nothing more than to pull Camila into her and give her a nice sweet kiss that could just explain how much she loves her as more than just her sister. She was about to speak till they got interrupted.

"Hey, guys" Ally cheerfully said waving at them with Shawn trailing behind her.

"Hey, um where did Dinah go?" Lauren asked looking around for her.

"She ran into Normani and yea they just took off going to class. Well, Dinah offered to walk her to her class actually, how sweet is that?"

"The sweetest," Camila said. "Hey, Shawn," she says finally acknowledging his presence.

"Hey, Mila" he blushed nervously rubbing at his forearm. "Walk me to class? Wait, no that's not right" he said slapping himself on the forehead. While talking to Ally, from the corner of her eye Lauren saw Camila laughing at whatever it was that he said, making her blood boil. "What I meant was can I walk you to class?"
