Falling for you

Chapter 3

"Hi boy," Camila said rubbing max, once he saw them. "Who's been a good boy?

"Mom!! Alejandro!!" Lauren yelled throughout the house, coming in.

"You're getting bigger by the day," Camila said when max jumped up on her. "Who's my good boy?" She asked in a baby voice, rubbing him.

"Hello!? Mom!? Alejandro!? I guess they aren't here" she says to Camila, taking the motorcycle helmets, sitting them down on the couch. "It still seems weird to be at college, yet to still live at home" she points out, taking off her leather jacket.

"Yea it does, doesn't it?" Camila questioned, thinking about it. "Well, I'm hungry" she then says, going into the kitchen, grabbing the items she'll need to make a sandwich.

"You're always hungry, Camz" Lauren laughed, jumping on the countertop, watching Camila.

"Yea, that's a fact" she agreed, giving max a piece of lunchmeat. "Do you want me to make you one?"

"Yea, but I want a CamWich" Lauren smirked, thinking about the day when Camila first got settled into living with Lauren and her mom and invented her not so famous, but a magical delicious sandwich. "It's been a while"

"Oh my god, I haven't made those in years" she laughed. "Well, change of plans," she says, putting away some items and getting others out. "Two CamWich coming up"

"Yayy" Lauren cheered, banging on the counter. "CamWich! CamWich!"

"You're such a dork" Camila laughed, giving Lauren her CamWich.

"I will happily be a dork if it meant I could eat this all the time" she declared with her mouth full.

"Lauren, what happened to not talking with your mouth full?" Camila questioned shocked.

"Well, we're not in public so who gives a rat's ass"

"I guess you're right" Camila laughed. "So, do you want to get started on this assignment or what?"

"Yea, we can do it now" jumping off the counter, Lauren grabbed her and Camila's bag, going upstairs to her room. "We can just work in my room"

"Fine by me," says Camila as she jumped on Lauren's bed, getting comfortable.

"So how do you want to do this?" Lauren questioned, sitting down on the bed next to Camila.

"Maybe like, Romeo and Juliet" Camz suggested.

"Boo"

"What? What's wrong with that?" Camila asked.

"The Romeo and Juliet story is so depressing," Lauren said.

"What!? No, it's not, it's romantic" Camila argued.

"What's so romantic about killing yourself?"

"Lo, you're focusing on the bad things"

"Well, because that's all it is," Lauren tells her. "I mean c'mon would you seriously do something even remotely close to what they did?"

"In the forbidden love aspect? Yea, because it's something about that, that just makes it even more beautiful than if it were a normal romance. I mean, yea sure anyone could fall in love with each other at first sight, but they weren't supposed to, they weren't even supposed to be together due to their family feud, but they looked beyond all that just to be together" Camila explained to her, looking to the wall of a picture with her and Lauren. "It was like loving someone that you know you shouldn't, though you can't help it, to have this undeniable desire and feeling towards this person. It's the excitement and anticipation of that forbidden love that makes it worth taking a chance on" Camila says subconsciously smiling as she spoke.
