Falling for you

Chapter 4

"I have your English papers right here" Mr. Legend said holding the stack of papers in his hand. "Some did really well on theirs and some... not so much" he tells passing the papers back out.

A series of groans and mumbling were heard when the students got their paper back. On the other side of the classroom waited an anxious Lauren and Camila wanting to see what their grade might be, since this is worth 50% of their grade.

"You two never seem to disappoint me" Mr. legend said with a bright smile, giving the girls their paper back. "You two go good together"

"What can we say?" Camila asked, grinning when looking to Lauren with adoring eyes and red cheeks. "She's my better half"

"Yea, we're better together. We're like Batman and Robin" Lauren said, throwing an arm around Camila.

"Then who's Robin between the two of you?" Mr. Legend smirked walking away from the sisters.

Looking to each other, they wondered who out of them would most likely be Robin, since nobody really likes Robin.

"I'll be Robin" said Camila.

"What? Why?" Lauren chuckled.

"Because people look up to Batman as their hero and you Lauren.. you're my Batman" Camila said wholeheartedly with blushing cheeks.

"If that's the case, then you Camila.. you are my Batman also" Lauren said ending it with a kiss on the head.

"Hey, Lauren! Camila! Could you come down here please!?" Clara asked of them from the staircase, before walking away going into the living with Alejandro.

Coming out of their rooms, both Camila and Lauren looked at each other asking the other what's going on? As they came downstairs going into the living room seeing bags packed.

"What's going on in here?" Camila pointed between them and the luggage, sitting down on the couch.

"Are we going on a trip or something?" Lauren asked looking at them, leaning on the wall.

"..um no" Alejandro said, rubbing his hands together. "Your mother and I will be going back to Miami for a while"

"What? Why?" Camila questioned, growing worried.

"What happened?" Lauren asked them, concern evident in her voice.

"Is something wrong?" Camila asked.

"No, no everything is fine" Clara reassured them.

"You're lying" Lauren stated, eyeing her and her body language. "What's really going on?"

"Ok, girls it's about your great Aunt Helen" Clara told them. "She's very ill at the moment, so your father and I will be going to Miami to take care of her for a while"

"Oh my god" Camila gasped. "Will she be ok?" She asked as her eyes began to tear up a bit. Lauren moved from the wall to Camila's side to comfort her.

"I'm sure" Alejandro assured them.

"She'll be just fine" Clara tells them.

"When are you leaving?"

"Right now, actually" Alejandro said, looking at his watch. "I'll go put the bags in the truck" he tells Clara.

"I'll help" Lauren said, grabbing some as well.

"How long will you guys be gone?" Camila asked, as her and Clara made their way outside.

"Not sure" She said. "But hey, how's your crush going?" She asked, excitedly trying to change the subject. Camila instantly became a stuttering, blushing mess.
