The guy lets me in, and I look around the place. it looks different, more modern. I guess they've fixed it ever since then.
i walk around, my eyes not spending too much time on anything in particular that isn't jimin or a sign of him. nobody looks at me longer than a few seconds, gladly. I see a guy I recognize from the day I saw jimin getting harassed. I quickly make my way over to him, startling him.
my hands curl into his shirt, bringing his face to mine dangerously. "where is he?" i growl, trying to look menacing.
"w-who?" He stutters, and i smirk under the bandana knowing he's scared. "Changhyun," i respond, glaring at him. I barely whisper the name. "I dont know! h-he went out a while ago, he didn't tell me," the guy says, and I stare at him. I let him go with a shove.
there's only one other place I can find him, and it'll be difficult getting in. so I have to go back to the weapons room in this underground cement basement. I quietly slip past some guys into the room, quickly scanning for an efficient weapon. i decide a handgun will work, loading it and slipping it in my pants. i leave the room, glancing around to make sure nobody noticed I stole the gun. I remain confident as I leave the basement, nodding at the guy who guards the door.
I walk back down the alley, fitting through the small opening again. I walk a little faster, knowing the kid probably told somebody about my encounter. I get into my car, starting the engine and immediately heading towards my destination.
my destination is a building, an old prison, in a neighborhood known for sketchy things. the building is huge, but it isn't worth much. there's no expensive exterior, no expensive furniture. it's mostly just run down.
before entering through the gate, I scan the front of the prison for an entrance. i see a window with ledges sticking out beside it, leading to another window I know leads to an extra cellar. i crouch down as I walk, seeing that as my opportunity.
I climb the ledges like a latter, ignoring the scrapes on my hands as I do so. stealthily, I peek over the edge into the window, seeing nobody there. I heave myself up aand through the window, landing with a soft thud on the ground. i crouch behind a large broken file cabinet, gun in hand, in case anyone heard the thud and came to investigate. after a moment of waiting and nobody coming, I walk out from behind it, towards the open door. the room next to it, as far as I can see, is only lit by Windows. I peek out the door, seeing a group of three or four guys, engaged in conversation. they're distracted so I creep past them, down the hallway, entering the next cell block. I continue to walk down the halls, my footsteps quiet and crouching down.
as I enter the next cell block, I begin to feel sick. I know this cell block. it's the cell block where at least a dozen criminal masterminds that should be given a life sentence in jail hide out. they keep prisoners here, for information or for their own pleasure. some of the killers here are phsyco, they've literally ripped people limb from limb, and leaving them to await their death. several dead bodies lay in the locked cells, probably their victims. they don't just kill people, they also rape people for their own enjoyment, over and over until they're both physically and mentally scarred. I know these people, they're cruel and terrible people. if they're in the hands of Changhyun or anybody he works with, he could be hurt, or worse, dead.
i ignore the smell, the bandana I never bothered to take off helping a little. everyone here is a criminal. you're not allowed in this group if you've never committed first degree murder.
i see a man guarding the first section you have to pass in order to get to the control room and headquarters. I look around, finding a weapon stash sitting on a cart in front of a cell. i grab a knife off of it, twiddling it in my fingers. i quietly walk behind him, and in a quick move my hand clasps over his mouth and i drag him back, and I don't think. the knife plunges into his chest, and immediately his breath labors. he should he dead soon, and there's nothing I can do now. i won't get in too much trouble for killing these men, granted they're criminals and responsible for murder. i let him fall to the ground, peeking around the corner for anybody else. there's nobody, so I continue down the hallway.
as I walk, the people in the cells are alive, and they're begging me to release them behind the tape plastered to their mouths. i groan in frustration because I know i can't just leave them here. there's only five of them, so it shouldn't be too hard.
i walk back to the guy I killed, hurriedly taking the keys from him. i return to the cells, the key circling around my finger. i saunter over to the first cell, grabbing the bars. the prisoner walks forward, a frantic look on her face. i calm her down before talking to her.
"look, I'm here to help you but I can't stay long. im gonna unlock you and give you this key. when I unlock you, unlock the rest of them and take them through the first two cell blocks down there. there should be a room on your left with a window. find a way to climb it and escape. stay low and be quiet. I'll give you this knife for protection. if you see anyone, hide until they're gone," i say, unlocking her cell and handing her both the key and knife, turning around to quickly head back to the weapon stash for another one. i pass the hostages on my way back, continuing through the cell block. as I run, i slip the gun under my shirt and belt so it's not causing as much delay.
I manage to get past two more guards without them seeing me, and then I see Changhyun. i walk forward, hurriedly, until i reach him. he doesn't expect me, so when i pin him against the wall, a knife threatening to plunge into his head, he looks startled. I hear a door close behind me and and gun cock. I turn my head to see a man holding a gun to my head. I turn back to Changhyun, and i let my hand creep closer and closer to the gun in my belt. if i don't move fast enough, there'll be a bullet in my head.
so i move quick. in less than a second, i pull the gun out, shooting the guy in the head, knocking his gun out of hand in the process. he falls to the ground, his lifeless body laying limp.
i recognize that man. he's murdered 27 people, raped 13 children, and 6 adults. killing him was a good deed at the most part.
i turn back to changyun, quickly scanning him for any weapons. i back up, the gun pressed to his head.
"where is he?" i growl, preparing the gun to shoot. behind me I hear people pounding on the door, probably because of the gunshot, but the door is locked.
"who?" He says, turning his head. i get a glimpse of the box on his cheek. "jimin, where is he?" i repeat, and he laughs.
"id never tell you. you're never getting him back. this is payback," he says, a more evil laugh scratching at his throat.
"Changhyun, if you don't tell me where he is im going to shoot everyone you love before you in a line, and then im gonna put a bullet in every part of your body until you die. you understand me?" i threaten, my voice dark and raspy.
he laughs again, this time his voice more hoarse and lifeless.
"Yoongi, if you did that, the only people you'd be putting a bullet in is you and me."
