"Frisk? What're you doing...?" Chara asked, sitting down next to her miserable sister, who was laying on the soft carpet and staring off into space.
"I'm trash..." She replied with no emotion.
"You got that right- wait what?"
"Blooky said it would make me feel better because our mom ruins everything and makes things more awkward between you and your skeletal love interest..."
"She does? Never happened to me... Not that I even have a love interest..." Chara glanced to her left then back to Frisk, wondering if she even wanted to help her at all.
"Liar... you have a crush on-" Chara's eyes and mouth melted tar.
     "SHUT. UP."
"Chill out beanie, no one is here."
"WHAT'S UP HUMANS!" Someone 'said' loudly.
"I stand corrected." Frisk muttered lazily.
"Cmon Frisk! You look terrible. You're not one to give up either. Why not come up with a plan?" Chara suggested. The thought of a plan didn't sound so bad, and Frisk was very determined.
"Then you have to make a plan too~" Frisk winked, her normal flirtatious spirit had returned.
"Why would I need a..." Chara looked at the tall skeleton who was undoubtedly listening to their conversation. "Papy, dear, could you make me some spaghetti?" His face glimmered with anticipation.
"SURE CHARA! THE GREAT PAPYRUS WILL GIVE YOU ANYTHING YOU WANT!" He declared, and walked out of the room. Chara turned back to Frisk, trying to cool off the hot blush on her face.
"Anything huh~?" Frisk purred, nudging Chara slightly on the arm. "I know what I would ask for... hehehe~"
     "FRISK! Stop being a pervert!!"
"Eh, it's a natural given trait. Can't change it." She shrugged and went to her room.

♥︎ Frisk's P.O.V. ♥︎

I spent at least two hours coming up with this plan. Now I just need to start it.
I hopped down the stairs, skipping two with each jump. The smell of pumpkin and cinnamon drifted into my nose. "Mom?" I wandered into the kitchen, it's her favorite place in the house, baking helps her relax I guess.
"Yes Frisk dear?" Toriel was holding a freshly baked pumpkin pie. After melting a neat cinnamon swirl on the surface, she placed it next to a stack of other pies. I've never seen her bake this much.
"Err... don't you think that's a bit much?" I asked, hoping the wobbling stacks wouldn't fall. Mom sighed and leaned on the refrigerator.
"I... I'm going to visit Asgore today..." she mumbled, bringing her fluffy white paws to her face. "I don't know how I'm supposed to behave... am I mad? Am I excited? Do I even consider this a real visit?!" Her voice rose and I stepped back.
"Mom, you know how dad- Asgore is. He's a fuzzy goat full of sunshine and flowers. Sure he's done some bad things in the past. But when you think about it..." I walked closer to her. "He did it for you, and for everyone who was suffering." I smiled, wondering if now was a bad time to enact my plan with mom in this state. Suddenly I was pulled back into a warm hug.
"Thank you, my child." She pecked my forehead and shuffled out of the room, looking back one last time. "Oh by the way... I'll be gone for a while, Sans and Papyrus will be watching you two... three..? Where's Asriel... or umm... Flowey..?" I lit up, but I didn't show it.
"Probably being lonely somewhere. He didn't exactly want to come up to the surface with us, remember?" Toriel shook her head sadly and went to her room, muttering. "Stay strong for me.. okay mom?" I sighed.
"Heheh, I'm sure she will kiddo." I internally screamed. Turning around, I met the sockets of my beloved.
"I think so too, Sansy~!"

"AND THAT'S WHY I'M THE GREATEST SKELTON TO EVER WALK." Papyrus finished, bowing. Sans and I clapped while Chara groaned.
We'd been playing games all day. Chara just wants to die, and it started to rain. I guess the weather channel can be right sometimes...
"Alright, I think it's time to call it a night." Sans said, yawning like the lazy skeleton he is.
"ALRIGHTY! THERE ARE ONLY TWO BEDROOMS THOUGH..." my eyes shimmered deviously.
"Well, Pap and I will share Tori's room, and you guys can keep your room.
     "Okay!" I agreed.

Chara climbed into her bed, yawning like a sleepy puppy. "Are you ready?" She said groggily.
"Yep!" Thunder cracked outside, just like they said it would. I shivered and Chara squealed. We exchanged a look and she blushed slightly.
"Don't think anything of it..." I heard her grumble as she disappeared under her covers.

I set an alarm to wake up three hours later. Eventually, my phone buzzed rapidly under my pillow, shaking me awake. I rubbed my eyes in annoyance before I realized what I had to do. Quietly, I nudged Chara's back repeatedly.
"Mmph... I'm up... I'm up!" she growled, jumping slightly from the continuos thunder.
"Good, I'm off.. be ready, okay?"
"Why do we have to do this... I don't even like him..." she lied. I gave her a disapproving stare and she turned away from me.
My bare feet creaked across the wooden floor, even though I tried to be silent. Mom's room isn't too far from ours, so I hope I don't wake them up. Rain was drumming annoyingly on our roof, applauded by loud rods of electricity. Every crash lit up the hallway for a short period of time, like some sort of horror movie. I took a deep breath and twisted the doorknob.
Sans was sleeping soundly on mom's couch, while Papyrus lay in her bed, overcome by a sweet slumber. I honestly didn't want to wake them up, but I will. I crept over to Sans, almost falling over from the roaring storm.
Cautiously, I pushed him forward and back, waiting for the unnatural flicker of his bony lids.
"F-Frisk... what're you doing here? What time is it..?" He barely spoke, stroking my soft hair.
"Sans..." I sobbed pathetically. "I-I'm scared of thunder... a-and it's s-so loud-" another raged roar from the sky fell upon the Earth. "Eep!" I threw myself into his arms, shaking more that I would put in the cold.
"SANS? WHAT'S WRONG?" Papyrus said a lot quieter than usual. Sans explained the situation slowly, comforting my helpless state. Alright, part two.
     "C-Chara doesn't l-like thunder e-either... I can't b-believe I left h-her alone..." I cried, wiping the tears from my eyes.
"DO NOT FRET. FOR I, THE GREAT PAPYRUS, SHALL CHECK ON HER MYSELF." He bounded out of the room. Humming a heroic tune. I hope Chara's okay... I looked back to Sans, who was gazing at me. I tried not to be overcome by the feeling of love and warmth, but it's too strong.
"Sans..." I leaned into his chest, taking shelter into his embrace.
"What is it kiddo.." he let out a yawn, rubbing my back.
"I love you... and thanks for being here with me..." I let myself drift away. Knowing my knight in punny armor would be right there when I awoke.

. . .

The funny part is that I'm not actually scared of thunder.
The sad part is that Chara is... I hope Papy is doing alright.
