Dan

Dan woke up in a cocoon of blankets which were and weren't his own. Never the less he was warm and comfortable, even if he was a bit confused to how he got in this comfortable bed with all these blankets. Dan sat up from his current position and stretched out his arms as much as he could before the blankets caught his arms and didn't allow them to. Then he rolled out of bed and walked out of the room with a cape of blankets wrapped around him and dragging along the carpet as he walked.

As he opened the door he was surprised that there wasn't the smell of breakfast cooking coming from the kitchen when the door opened. Matt had to be up, he wasn't in bed so surely he had to be somewhere, right? Dan continues his journey through the hall. It is then Dan realises he has no memory of this place, which is weird considering he's lived here for quite a few months now. The good part was hallway didn't serve as much of a problem to navigate through due to is being a simple hallway that only goes in one direction. However when he entered the living room he didn't really know where the exit was. He didn't want to leave, he didn't have any where else to go so that's not an option he wanted to take, but he still wanted to know how to get out. All he really knew was that there were two doors that looked alike and either could be the door out, or a closet.

Dan ponders about which door might be which until a loud snort makes him jump and almost trips on the blankets as they get tangled in his legs. When he regains balance his head cranes towards the sound and sees Phil sleeping on his pull out couch, which looked comfortable but probably had at least one lose spring that would lead to back pain. His head was pressed against a coach pillow, his front side underneath him and a thin blanket lightly draped over his back. It is then Dan remembers exactly where he is, and why he's there. Dan's lips form a tight frown before he untangles one of the blankets tangled around himself and spreads it out over a sleeping Phil, who starts smiling at the newfound warmth. It's the least he could do for letting him stay with him. Maybe he could even make him breakfast.

Dan then waddles to the kitchen and starts pulling out two pans. One for pancakes and one for eggs. Then he opens up the silver fridge doors and is greeted by an empty fridge and cold air. "Of course, going to Vegas and all you wouldn't want to have a full fridge full of wasted food when you come home." Dan mumbles, closing the fridge and surpassing a yawn. Looks like he or Phil would have to go shopping.

Dan groans as he waddles back to the living room. He goes over to Phil's pullout couch mattress and sits down on it, making it unbalanced and causing Phil to roll over slightly towards Dan. "Phil." Dan pushes one of his arms out of his cocoon and pokes a sleeping Phil in the side. Phil jolts up immediately. "Holy crap!" Dan fall back off the couch when he sees a hand coming towards his face in result for rudely awakening Phil. A loud thud is heard as Dan lands against the floor.

"Oh gosh I'm so sorry!" Phil apologizes, crawling to the edge of the mattress and offering Dan a hand. "I'm ticklish and I tend to react violently when I'm not expecting it." Dan grabs Phil's hand and allows him to be pulled back up.

"I will make a note of that." Dan chuckles, scratching his head to try and shake the shock from almost getting slapped away.  "Anyway, sorry to wake you I- uh- I was going to go grocery shopping for some food. I wanted to ask what you wanted or didn't want."

"You don't need to go grocery shopping-"

"Yes I do, you're letting me stay here I need to do everything I can to repay you and don't say I don't, I already promised myself I would. So start listing foods."

Phil blinks. "Alright, um, Cereal, I don't care what kind I'll end up eating it no matter what it is, milk, any juice I'll let you pick, eggs, pasta, vegetables, fruits, ice cream, bread, no cheese, I don't like cheese-"
