Phil
"Um, sure?" Phil wasn't completely sure what passed him to say yes, he had no information as to why Dan needed to live with him, he just knew that he promised if Dan ever needed anything that he would be there.
"Really?" Dan's voice cracked over the phone. Phil felt terrible, there was obviously something going on with Dan and Matt, and he knew he should ask. He couldn't though, he was sick of Matt and he knew this had to be his doing if Dan needed a place to stay.
"Yeah, yeah you can stay with me. I don't have an extra room so maybe I can sleep on my pull out couch or something." Phil reasons, rubbing his eyes with his hands and stopping once different colours start to cloud his vision.
"Are you sure? If you don't have e-enough room i can live somewhere else it's n-no big deal you're just closer to my job and-"
"Dan."
"Yes?"
"It's no problem if you live with me." Phil assures him, grabbing his coat with his keys in the pocket. He'd have to make an extra house key but that was cheap, he also had some spare blankets from all the sleepovers he's had with friends who either were too drunk to go home or they stayed over for the fun of it.
"I don't want to be a burden." Dan whispers, his voice soft and unsure as he sniff away his tears that seemed to be fading, or he was just containing them.
"You're no burden. Do you want me to swing by now to pick you up or what?" Phil asks, holding the phone up with one hand to skip his arm through a one of the sleeves then switching which hand held the phone.
"The sooner the better really. I have some boxes I need to bring with me too if that's okay."
"That's completely fine. No biggie. I guess I won the walking around my flat naked anymore though." Phil mumbles the last part but Dan still picks it up and gives a soft chuckle. "I should mention that I will have some rules while you are living here. No mentioning Matt unless it is if the up most importance, no watching the shows I am I the middle of on Netflix because I don't want to lose my place, when I am in what my friends call a 'writing trance' don't bother me because if I don't get out of the 'trance' naturally I am usually grumpy. Do those rules sound fair?"
"Mhm." Dan hums.
"Great, do you any habits you need me to know beforehand?"
"I've been trying to g-get some voice acting gigs s-so I might practice different voices randomly. I-I'm extremely emotional and cry after watching or listening to something sad. I-I can't sort of cook but that's it." Dan explains, stuttering many times throughout his whole explanation.
"Okay, Dan, take a deep breath. I'm coming over, I'm picking you up with all your belonging, you can pick a movie on Netflix, I'll make popcorn, and I'll listen to your sob story and act like I'm interested, alright?" Phil tells him to try and lighten his mood. Thankfully he was able to get a soft chuckle out of the man. Phil leaves his flat and locks the door. "Where do you live?"
"Um, let me send you it, you can plug it into Google and ask for directions." Dan tells him, his voice pulling away from the phone so he can look at it and send his location to Phil. The text reaches his phone in a matter of minutes and he plugs it into Google.
"Okay, I have the directions. How bad is your situation, is it i need to live or else this guy is going to kill me or I need to leave because I can't stand being with a guy who doesn't want me?" Phil asks as he pauses in the lift, scolding himself as he realizes he didn't put on one of his shoes. Of course it had to be one of the coldest months ever.
