Chapter 10: Moving??

3 months later, 3rd POV

"Hello." Marius says answering the phone

"Hello. Is this Marius Pontmercy?"

"Yes, this is he. Whom may I ask are you?" Marius responds.

"This is John. I was reading your biography, along with your resume, and was wondering if you'd like to study at New England Institute of Technology Here in America? It'd be on a full scholarship of course." John says.

"Hello, John. Can I do some research and then decide?" Marius asks considering it.

"Of course you can. We'd love to have you. We offer multiple different majors and minors. We can give you up to 63 hours for you to research and think about this amazing offer." John says answering Marius' question.

"Thank you. I will let you know by then." Marius says and puts the phone back.

"Hey, who were you on the phone with?" Eponine says on the couch watching tv with Gavroche.

"It was a man named John from the New England Institute of Technology in America." Marius responds.

"Oh. Fancy what did he say?" she responded

"Well he apparently read my bio and resume. He was wondering if I wanted to go to school there and offered me a full scholarship." he responded

"Wow. That's amazing Marius!! Congrats love!!" she said running towards me for a big hug.

"Thanks Ponnine!" he told her embracing the hug.

"What did you say?" she asked

"I said that I would have to do some research and then decide." he says telling her.

"What did he respond saying?" she asked intrigued about what's happening.

"He said that they'd love to have me as a student and that they offer a ton of majors and minors. He also said that I have up to 63 hours to research and make my decision." Marius says telling Ponine what she wants to hear.

"Okay so you do your research, come back and tell me what you think you want to do and I'll tell you my opinion and we'll go from there deal?" She asks

"Sounds great. Deal. I love you Ponine." he says

"I love you too Marius! Hey let's celebrate by going to the park." she says.

"I like that idea." Marius says.

~two days later~

"Hey Eponine there's something I need to tell you." Marius says.

"Hey what's up? Is everything alright?" Eponine responds sitting next to Marius on the couch.

"Nothing much. Everything is fine. I just need to talk to you about my decision." He responds to his fiance's question.

"Oh okay did you do your research?" She asks him.

"I did and it seems that there's a lot of pros v. cons with going to this college. We wouldn't have to worry about paying for the college because they offered me a full scholarship. The only thing we'd have to worry about paying for is the flight and the house. Plus with this timing I think that it's good for all of us especially Gavroche. What do you think?" He says.

"Well the financial statement is kind of a bonus and I do think that the timing is pretty good. I know that we'll never be the same with what we've lived with and who we've lost. I'm not sure that Gavroche living here any longer is going to help hem. I think that moving there would be a good idea and a chance to start over. What do you think about the college?" She says.

"I think that the college looks like a pretty good one and that I'd be able to learn a lot from them. I also think that I should go." He says.

"Alright. That settles it. You go call the guy from the college and tell him that you're going to accept the scholarship. I'll start looking for a job and houses. I think we should tell Gavroche together though." She says and he nods getting up to get the phone.

"Hello is this John from the New England Institute of Technology?" Marius says on the phone.

"Yes this is him. Whom may I be speaking to?" John says.

"This is Marius Pontmercy." He says responding to the question.

"Ah Marius. So I'm guessing that you've called to talk about the scholarship?" John asks.

"Yes actually. I've done all the research that I need and I will be honored to join your program and will accept the scholarship." he said

"Good. I'm so glad. I'll send you all the information in the mail. I look forward to seeing you on campus. Classes start in a month. So be sure you come prepared. Take care." John says.

"Thank you. I will come prepared." he says.

Sorry it took so long to update I had writers' block for almost 3 full months and couldn't think of what to do in this chapter. Also I had a ton of school work and crap happening in my life to where i was either busy morning over my dog's death, planning two different trips, or getting caught up in friend drama. Thank you so much for all the reads and support that i've gotten through this book hope you liked this chapter. I will be updating more recent hopefully. Anyways I'll see you'll in this next chapter till then remember to stay filled with love.
