I woke up the next morning with a spring in my step and a smile on my face. Last night made me feel so much more happier again, I mean, except for Dad bursting in a pushing Hunter up against a wall, it was good.
I walked into the living room and picked up my bag ready to leave the house. Luckily it was the weekend. FINALLY.
"You seem happy" dad smiled at me
"I'm finally feeling normal again" I reply
"I'm sorry about yesterday, with Hunter" he said to me while looking me in the eyes
"It's okay dad, he's fine, you will tell me what's happened right?" I asked him
"I just need to make sure it's right" he replied "if you see Shane stay away from him he's dangerous" he warned me
I was walking to the McQueen household. I knocked on the door and Myra answered it
"Hi Myra" I greet her "is Hunter In?"
"Yes he is, come in sweetheart" she smiled as she opened the door wider and ushered me to come in, Myra was like my mother, I never met my mum she left when I was very young...so young that I can't even remember what she looks like or what her voice sounds like, Myra was always there and took me in when I had no one. I'm forever thankful
"Hunter! Ellie's Here!" She shouted up the stairs
"How's everything?" I asked her
"Brilliant darling, baby on the way, family all together, and someone like Diego in my life" She said
"I'm so happy you found happiness, you deserve it" I say as I hug Myra, her giving a warm hug back
Hunter came downstairs and smiled at me
"Let's go"
"Bye Aunt Myra" Hunter shouted while we left
While we were walking a car pulled up to us It was Shane, Hunters dad. The person dad said to avoid because he was dangerous.
"Hey want a lift?" He asked me and Hunter
Hunter looked to me, asking me what I wanted to do, I knew I should follow dad's instructions, his gut instincts are almost always correct.
"Let's walk" I said
"Come on, if we get a lift we get food sooner" he laughed
He pulled me into His Dads car
"Nightingales please" Hunter said to his dad
We were driving and suddenly I noticed something , "You were suppose to make a left half a mile back" I told Shane
Shane looked back and me and Hunter.
"We've had a change of plan"
