We were all sat up against a wall, knees to our chest, tears rolling down my face.
"Listen Shane, this is between me and you, let Joel and Ellie go"
"Dad" Joel said with a concerned and warning tone
"No Warren, this, this is between me, you and Joel...Ellie is just here to make sure you won't make any more mistakes"
"What?" I asked
He picked me up and put the gun to me head, I screamed in a panic and looked at dad in the eyes as Shane put his hand over my mouth in order to make sure no sound escaped.
"WAIT WAIT, we can sort this out" Dad pleaded with his hands up in surrender
"Yes Warren you're right, we can" he cocked the gun
"NO WAIT!" Joel shouted
"Please j-just let her go"
"Ellie, I have a question for you, who do you want to die first" he said as he removed his hand from my mouth, me shaking in fear.
"What?" I asked
"Pick. Who should I shoot first?"
"SHANE!" Joel shouted with a pleading tone in his voice.
"I'm waiting"
"I-I"
I elbowed him in the 'area' and ran back to dad and Joel, Dad hugging me protectively
"THAT WAS A BAD MISTAKE ELLIE" Shane shouted as he shot his gun in the air which made me jump.
Joel's POV.
Me and dad looked at each other. We knew we needed to get Ellie out, Just to make sure she's safe
Third person view.
As the bullet wizzed through the air it hit a gas tank. Leaking gas everywhere through the loft
Ellie's POV.
I secretly pulled my phone out and called PC Ryan.
"So what are gonna do To us, in here? The loft of all places" I asked
"I want revenge"
"For what" Joel said
"For BART"
I hung up and slyly put my phone into my back pocket.
Half an hour passed. All of a sudden we heard a police microphone
"Shane, come out, put your weapon on the floor and leave", As soon as we heard this Shane went red eyed. He went mental.
"WHO CALLED THE POLICE?!? WHO" he shouted at us as he picked me up
"NO GET OFF ME" I screamed
"Shane GET OFF HER" dad shouted
"GET OFF" I tried kicking him off
He shot his gun in the air one last time, but after he did, an explosion ripped through the loft. Knocking all of us off our feet. I felt everything collapse on me. I drifted away into complete darkness.
