I was walking back to my hospital room, when I saw Hunter getting his stitches. I headed towards Hunter when I felt somebody drag me and pin me up against a wall
"I didn't finish where we started" I heard a voice say
I slowly looked the person in the eye
Shane.
"Get your hands off me" I croaked out
"Your brother and dad owe me an apology" he said clenching onto my wrists I could see them turning black and blue.
"He doesn't owe you anything, how did it feel, nearly killing your son?" I asked him
"I had to do what I had to do"
"Just get off me you freak"
The next thing I saw was a fist hit his face
"Get off her you idiot!" Brody shouted
"Brody...I..."
"Are you okay?" He asked me while checking my wrists
"I'm fine, thank you so much" I said
"Let me take you to your hospital room" he said while helping me walk to my room
"Ellie" Dad immediately got up as I walked through the door and helped me sit on my hospital bed
"There was a bit of trouble, with Shane" Brody told dad and Joel
"Shane!?!" Dad looked at me
"Dad it's fine"
"I got him off her, but he hurt her wrists, they'll probably bruise" Brody continued
"Thank you" Joel thanked Brody
Brody then left the room, Dad carefully checked my wrists and got a bandage and stared to cover them.
"We need to get rid of him. For good." Dad said
The room fell silent, after a while I decided to break the silence
"Can I go and see Hunter?" I asked dad
"I'll take you" Joel said
He helped me get up and I limped to Hunters room
"Where is he?" I said to Joel
A doctor walked in to hunters room
"Where is he" she asked us
"You don't know where he is?" I worriedly asked the doctor
"He's due for his pain killers, that's all I know" she replied back
I turned to Joel
"Shane"
