Ellie's pov
It was dead quiet, I was standing outside on the ground looking up at the loft. Shivers chilled down my spine, Prince? Of all people, he doesn't know, the feelings I have for him, it's different than Hunter. I love Prince. 

A pair of arms touched my shoulder and knocked me out of my thoughts, I quickly turned around in fright and saw Joel standing there with a concerned look on his face.

"Jesus Joel!!!" I shouted

 "Is that a god pun?" He questioned 

"No, Joel you just, just scared me" 

"Hey you look like death, not to be rude, how much sleep have you had?" 

"I don't know like an hour I-I don't know"

"Why don't we get you home" he said while reaching out for my arm 

"No no I need to go to the hospital, Prince he's there and it's all my fault and-" 

"Hey El look at me, nothings going to happen" 

Joel's phone started to ring, "Yeah dad, yes she's fine, okay I will, we will be home soon, okay bye"

Joel's pov
As I turned around after the phone call Ellie was gone. It's like she just vanished, I knew where she was going, the hospital. I rang dad again, "Yeah dad, meet me at the hospital, she's on her way there

Warrens pov
We walked into the hospital and I saw Tegan 

"Tegan where's Princes room?" 

She looked down on her board and spotted his room "Down the hall 2nd left", When we arrived we got a shock, she wasn't there. 

"Hey Mr F" Prince said to me 

"Has Ellie been here?"

 "Nope" 

"At all?" Joel asked 

"Nope"

Ellie's pov :
I stared into his room, he was lying there in his hospital bed, still alive, I knew what I had to do. Exactly what he did to us, to Prince, I had to hurt him. And I knew exactly how., It took all of my courage to walk into his hospital room.

"What the hell do you want?" He asked me 

"To talk. But not here and not now, later, at the garage" 

"Make sure to bring your old man"

"No, no one else, just me and you"

I walked out of his room as quickly as I could, I tried steadying my breathing, Just like dad taught me to...deep breath in...deep breath out. I walked out of the hospital I looked at the floor the whole time, and that's when...I knocked into dad

"Where have you been?" He asked me concerned

 "T-the hospital" 

"You weren't with Prince" 

"N-n-o-o" I stuttered

  My vision started to get dizzy

Warrens pov 

Ellie was just stood there, totally zoned out 

"She's zoned out" I turned to Joel 

She suddenly fell to the ground but I caught her in time, Kim came running over 

"What the hell happened?, what's wrong with her?" 

Kim kept inspecting Ellie

"KIM!" I shouted 

"Dad calm down" Joel said from next to me

"She just collapsed from exhaustion, she's had too little sleep and she's totally worn her body out, you need to take her back and make sure she gets plenty of rest" I nodded

As soon as we got home I tucked Ellie into bed and watched as she was in a deep slumber. Her phone buzzed, I wouldn't normally do this but, I needed to protect her. Her phone was in her pocket and I slowly took it out and read the text 

What time are we meeting?
- Shane

I left the room and showed Joel, "What is he doing texting her!?" 

"Dad stay calm until we find out what that's about" 

"How am I supposed to stay calm Joel??!? they were going to meet!!?"

"For her sake you need to calm down"

3 hours passed when I heard Ellie starting to wake up

Ellie's pov
I woke up and was confused as to where I was and what happened but dad and Joel soon walked in.

 "What happened" 

"You collapsed because of exhaustion" Joel softly said as he offered me a glass of water. I accepted it and took a sip of water

"What is this!?" Dad shouted slightly 

I read the text and got up,"You went through my phone!?!?" I shouted back 

"Explain!" Dad said 

"I needed to talk to him okay!" 

"About What" 

"How about the time he crashed a car at high speed I was in, when he took Hunter and shot me with a gun or when he took us all hostage and then made the loft explode!?!" 

"THATS EXACTLY WHY I CANT LET YOU MEET HIM EL! I NEED TO PROTECT YOU OKAY!" He said as he started to close the door to my bedroom

"HEY WHERE ARE YOU GOING!?" 

I heard the sound of a lock, he was locking me in my own room, keeping me like I'm some kind of prisoner. 

"I'm so sorry El, I need to, to protect you"

"Wha-, HEY YOU CANT LOCK ME IN HERE! DADDD! PLEASE DONT LOCK ME IN HERE PLEASE" I screamed and pounded on the door, it was no use, I sat on the floor and started to cry 

"Please dad" 

"I'm really sorry, it's the only way I can protect you. I really do love you El"

Warrens pov
Tears slides down my cheeks, I hated to do this but I have to protect her from this monster. 

"Are you serious?!? You can't lock her in like she's some kind of prisoner!"

"I need to find him" 

"I'm coming with you. I'm net letting you do this alone"
