Dream Of A Vampire

Chapter Sixteen

Several months had passed since I had been turned into a vampire and I was enjoying it. I had fed on many other people in the time and well of course Teagan had her hunger and well that didn’t go down well. She passed out several times and even went into a cardiac arrest but she pulled through with the help of us lot and let’s say a couple of willingly people.

We all had left school and are now in college. Teagan goes to a different college as well as Max. I didn’t mind to be honest as we both wanted different things. We also met other vampires which was really eventful.

At home we discussed what our plans were when we left college and we both agreed to go to the same university so we could live together. Teagan had said she wanted to go into being a you tuber with Alex when she left college and not go to university but I think deep down she will go after a year or so; like taking a gap year to get some rest from education and settling down with Alex in London.

However, today is Saturday and were going for our second camping trip to the field where we went for our first time in February half-term. We were packing our bags when Max said something out of the ordinary.

“Hey, so tonight is going to be a clear one and we should bring a tent with us. So we could have some alone time together and also no one will be there and hear us.”

“Yes and where are you getting at Max?” I enquired

“Nowhere but I was just stating some useful information.” He replied

“Right okay, well I’ll go and get the food from your mum.” I said walking out of the bedroom we had been sharing for the past months

I grabbed the food from the side which his mum had placed in tubs for us. She had prepared us some pasta for when we wanted to eat later which was nice of her. I pounded up the stairs to join Max with packing but I was stopped in my tracks with a ladder in front of me and hearing Max talk to himself in the attic.

“Max what the hell you doing in the attic?” I shouted up to him

“I’m looking for the tent and the sleeping bags but I can’t remember where I placed them the last time we went.” He shouted back

“Ahh, it’s beside the drawers!!” I shouted back

“Oh, I can see it! I’m passing it down!” He said

I placed the pasta tubs down on the side and waited for Max to come to the hatch with either the two man tent or the sleeping bags. It turned out to be the tent first and I pulled it from Max and placed it down onto the floor by the pasta tubs. Soon came the sleeping bags and then came Max will a lot of dust on him.

“Hope you’re going for a shower before we leave tonight?” I asked as he was putting the ladder back into the cupboard.

“Yeah, I better now I have this dust over me.” He replied

“Ha-ha, well I will see you later then!” I shout from the bedroom where I place the tubs into the bag.

I finish packing the rest of the things and heave them down to the living room whilst Max is drying and getting changed into fresh clothes for tonight. He finally comes downstairs and plonks himself next to me on the couch.

“Bags packed then?” He asked

“Yeah all ready to go!”  I replied

“Awesome!” He said excitedly getting up off the couch. “I’ll grab the keys and then we can start putting this stuff into the car.”

Oh yeah, Max can drive now. Also, we found a secret back road that leads to the field where were going tonight so we don’t need to carry all this stuff with us which is a bonus. Max calls from outside just as I finish putting my shoes on. I start to pick up the luggage and carry it to the car where Max is waiting to position it in the small boot he has. After carrying all of the things to Max he smartly placed them in the boot where they all fit together like a jigsaw puzzle. I locked up the house as his parents were at work and we began our journey to the field.

However, we weren’t to know about the danger and adventure we were heading into.
