We arrive at the gathering some time later. I intertwine my hands with Max’s as we walk up towards the group who were chattering to each other.
“Hello!” He says slightly louder
They all turn around when they hear Max’s voice.
“Hey! Haven’t seen you in a while and you may this young lady be?” A man with great hair said
“Yeah well been busy! This is Clarissa.” He said smiling
“Hi...” I said quietly
“Don’t be shy, were all vampires here!” He said laughing
“True! What’s your name then?” I ask this man
“My name is, Alex Day! I’m a you tuber and musician.” He says extending out his arm.
I take my hand out from Max’s and shake Alex’s hand. “Could I ask you something, Alex, in private if that’s alright with you Max.” I ask him
“Yeah sure!” They both say
I say goodbye to Max and me and Alex walk over to the woodland area.
“What’s it you want to ask me then?” He says
“I’ve got a friend and she adores you…” I say
“Yeah…” He replies
“Well she wants to become a vampire just like me and you and I said I would find her someone…” I say the last words quietly
“And, I’m guessing, you want me to do the honours.” He says
“Well yeah…” I say
“I would love to meet the girl to see if I have a connection and if I do then I will.” He smiles back
“Amazing! We should get back to the gathering.” I say
“Yeah, have you got your phone with you?” He asks
“Yeah, why?” I ask
“Could I have it please?” He asks.
I pull out my phone from my trouser pocket and I stand next to him seeing what he is doing. I notice him going into my contacts and entering his number into my contact book.
“Here’s my number, I’ll text you when I’m free!” He says giving back my phone to me
“Oh cool!” I say
We walk back to the party and I see Max getting a drink from the table. I walk over to him and wrap my arms around his waist.
“Soo, where did you go then?” He asks whilst turning around
“I went into the woodland to talk to Alex for a bit, I needed to ask him something!” I say kissing him after
“What about?” He says kissing back
“You know I told you about how Teagan wanted to be turned into a vampire, well I asked Alex if he would do the honours but he said he would have to meet her first to see if they clicked.” I explained
“Right, I see, well it’s getting late so do you want to go back home?” Max says
“Yeah sure, it is getting chilly!” I exclaim
We say our goodbyes to the group and make our way home. I get a message from Alex on the way.
Alex: I’m free tomorrow around 4 so if you want to meet at the park then that would be great!
Me: Yeah sounds awesome, I’ll tell Teagan tomorrow! Night
I send the message and return the phone back into my trouser pocket.
We arrive back home and we decide to call it a night as we were both tired.
Me and Max walk to school together holding hands all the way there. We meet Teagan at the school gates and Max departs leaving us two.
“Hey, so I’ve got great news!” I say smiling
“What is it?” She asks
“I’ve found someone to turn you into a vampire!” I say excitedly grinning
