Chapter 13

Niall was about to kiss me but the door slammed open to an angry Louis.

"What is going on here?!" Louis yelled

"I-I was j-just helping Niall with his w-wounds." I stuttered

Louis then came over and grabbed me tightly by the arm.

"Ow Louis you're hurting me." I said scared

"Shut up! And you stay away away from my girlfriend" Louis said and dragged me away from Niall.

"Louis please let go." I said

"Shut up!" Louis yelled and slammed me up against a wall. Tears starting forming in my eyes.

"Louis please let go. I-I have t-to go to work" I stuttered

"I swear if I catch you with Niall one more time you'll regret it." Louis said and then dropped me to the floor and kicked me in the stomach. Louis then left me on the floor in tears. I got up slowly and went to Louis' and I's room to change for work.

"Mommy?" I heard just as I was finished getting changed

"What is it Lucas?" I asked

"Sissy and I come to work with you?" Lucas asked

I bent down to his level and smiled sadly.

"I'm sorry sweetie but you can't this time." I said and got up only to have Lucas follow me with his sister.

"But mommy!" Lucas said

"I said no!" I said and closed the door and walked to work. Once I was there I started waiting tables.

Niall's POV

Louis had caught Courtney and I. She was only bandaging my wounds and I wanted to kiss her. I can't help it. I love her and Louis doesn't deserve her. He's always yelling at her and hitting her and making her cry. I need to see her again even if that means sneaking around. I think she's working right now. That's it! I'll visit her at work! I left my room and walked downstairs to the door.

"Hey Niall where you going?" Harry asked

"Um just out for some fresh air." I said and walked to Courtney's job not knowing someone was following me.

Harry's POV

I knew something was up by the way he looked so nervous when he was talking to me so I decided to follow him. I followed him to the cafe Courtney's works at. Wait what is he doing here? I hid at a table near the door only to see Niall kiss Courtney. Wait?! Kiss?! Louis is not going to like this. You are in trouble Niall. Just wait until Louis finds out I smirked and snuck off to tell Louis the news.

Courtney's POV

I was working when I felt two arms around me. I turned to see Niall?!

"What are you doing here?" I whispered

"I needed to see you." Niall said

"If Louis find out" I said

"I'll take my chances." Niall said and then caught me off guard by kissing me.

"I love you and I can love you better than Louis. He doesn't deserve you." Niall said

"I-I L-love you too b-but I-I have to get back to work." I said and ran away from Niall in tears and continued serving tables. I want to be with him but I'm scared of what Louis will do.
