Chapter 6

I woke up in Louis' arms. Tears were brought to my face as I remember what happened last night. Louis had raped me. I hate him. I wish I could escape but he's not going to make that easy. I sighed and got up and put my clothes on and brushed my hair and brushed my teeth. I then went downstairs to see Lucas and Madelyn eating breakfast already. I looked to see that Harry had made them pancakes and Niall was eating as well.

"Mommy!" Lucas and Madelyn said and ran over to me.

I bent down and hugged them and kissed each of their foreheads.

"Why don't you to go get dressed?" I said to my kids.

"Okay!" Lucas said and grabbed his sister's hand and ran off.

"They're cute kids." Niall said.

"Thanks Niall. Thanks Harry for making them breakfast." I said.

"Well it's true." Niall said but Harry didn't say anything. I wonder what's his problem.

"So why did you leave Louis anyway?" Niall asked

"I'd rather not talk about it." I said.

"Mommy!" Lucas and Madelyn said with a smile.

I then picked Madelyn up and took Lucas' hand in mine and made sure I had everything.

"Bye Harry and Niall" I said

"Mommy why do we have to leave?" Lucas asked.

"Why can't we stay with daddy?" Madelyn asked before I left.

A tear then fell down my cheek.

"Madelyn, Lucas daddy is a mean man to mommy" I said with a small smile.

"Why? Does daddy love mommy?" Lucas asked.

"I don't know sweetie. No more questions. How about we get ice cream on the way home?" I asked.

"YAY!" Lucas and Madelyn yelled which made me smile and we left the house and started our walk home.

Niall's POV

I could see the tears go down Courtney's eyes when her kids asked why they can't stay with Louis? I saw tears roll down her beautiful face when Lucas asked Courtney if Louis loved her. Wait a second did I just call her beautiful? Oh no this can't be happening if Louis finds out I'm dead or he'll hurt Courtney and I can't let that happen. But still I can't help it. I think I'm starting to develop feelings for her and I only just met her. Just then I heard footsteps. I looked to see Louis come down stairs with Liam and Zayn behind him.

Louis then went over to the fridge and took a beer out.

"Where's Courtney?" Louis said annoyed that she wasn't here.

"She left with Lucas and Madelyn a couple minutes ago." I said.

"That bitch! I didn't say she could leave!" Louis said obviously getting angry.

"Louis calm down" I said.

"Don't tell me to calm down Niall." Louis yelled.

"Louis calm down mate." Liam said.

"Shut up! Don't you tell me to calm down either." Louis said.

"What ya going to do to her mate?" Zayn asked.

"Next time I see her she's in for it." Louis said.

"Why did you guys break up anyway?" I asked.

"We didn't break up. She walked out on me." Louis said

"I can see why." I said without thinking.

Louis then came over and grabbed me by my shirt and slammed me against the wall.

"Watch what you say Niall. I can kill you right here, right now if I wanted to but I'm not in the mood. Don't do anything with my girl that you'll regret. That includes all of you unless I say it's okay!" Louis said and dropped me.

"I'm going to get changed and then we're going out. Be ready." Louis said and walked away.

"You're crazy Niall. Standing up to Louis like that." Liam said.

"I don't care. Courtney is scared of him and left him for a reason and I'm going to find out why!" I yelled.

"Looks like Nialler has a crush on Louis' girl." Zayn said with a smirk.

"I do not!" I yelled.

"If you didn't you wouldn't be so defensive and you wouldn't be blushing." Harry said.

"You better hope Louis doesn't find out." Liam said. I just ignored him and waited for Louis to come down. I just hope that Courtney is okay. I need to see her again. I need to see what she's hiding.

"Let's go" Louis said and we all headed out the door while following Louis.

Courtney's POV

I had just got done getting the kids ice cream and we were on our way home. Once I opened the door to the apartment the kids ran inside high on sugar from their ice cream which made me laugh. I then put Aladdin in and they both sat down to watch the movie. Hopefully that would calm them down. I then got a text from Lilly.

Hey we on for practice tomorrow? Lilly asked

Sure can I bring Madelyn and Lucas. I texted back

Sure meet me at my house at 1 okay? Lilly asked

Okay seeya tomorrow I texted.

I then watch the rest of the movie with my kids.

"Mommy park?" Madelyn asked

"Not today sweetie" I said. Truth was I was still in pain from Louis raping me.

"Yes!" Madelyn said.

"Madelyn Marie Kirk I said no!" I raised my voice.

"But mommy!" Madelyn said.

"Go to your room." I said.

Madelyn then ran to her room in tears.

"Mommy why you yell at sissy?" Lucas asked.

"Mommy just had a bad day. Let's go see sissy." I said and picked Lucas up and we went to Madelyn's room to see her crying in her pillow. I walked over and sat on her bed.

"Madelyn mommy is sorry for yelling. Mommy just has a lot going on. Maybe tomorrow we can go to the park. Okay?" I asked.

"Okay mommy I forgive you. I'm sorry." Madelyn said and hugged and kissed me. I then put them down for their nap and then count the money I made this week. I made about $400 this week but after putting some aside for rent and paying bills I only had about $150. Barely enough to get by this week. Oh well I'll have to make it work. I then went to the couch and fell asleep with the TV on not knowing what Louis and his gang were up to.
