Chapter 14

As I sat down on a chair the the back room, I thought of what would happen to me if Louis found out about me and Niall. I hope to god that he doesn't though because I don't think I would be able to cope with more punishment from Louis. But a feeling kept appearing every time I thought of Niall, even his name causes the butterflies to errupt and flutter around my stomach. I tried to think straight but I couldn't keep my mind of Niall and what he said, that he could love me and treat me better than Louis ever could. In a way, I believed him, I have no idea why but I did, is that so wrong?

LOUIS' P.O.V

I was just about to head to Courtney's work to check up on her, when Harry came barging through the front door, phone in hand. What the hell is wrong with this guy?!

"Louis! You have got to see this..." he trailed off and held the phone out to me. I took it from him quite aggresively and stared at the screen. It was a picture of Courtney and Niall. Kissing! What the hell??!!

"When did you take this?!" I shouted, gesturing toward the picture.

"Ermmm, like 10 minutes ago." Harry replied. Alright that is it, I gave them a chance and they blew it, both of them are going to wish they had never even seen each other now.

I grabbed my car keys off the side and stormed over to my car, leaving Harry still standing there slightly shocked. I put the phone in my pocket, careful not to change the screen from the picture. I drove the 5 minutes to Courtney's work place and parked the car near by.

I pushed open the door and instantly scanned the room for her. She had to be here. I couldn't see her so I approached one of her collegues.

"Excuse me, do you know where Courtney is? It's kind of urgent." I asked trying to be polite.

"Yeah, I do, would you like me to go and fetch her for you?" she asked.

"That would be a great help thanks." Courtney is going to get it now. I took the phone out, as I saw her walk through the back door that leads to the workers break area as soon as she saw the phone, a look of panic spread across her face.

"Courtney, would you like to step outside with me, so we can chat privately?" I asked in a forced gentle tone, but I could tell that she was not buying it what so ever.

"I can't, Louis I'm working." She was clearly trying to find an excuse to not talk to me, but she wasn't trying hard enough.

"Oh it's okay Courtney, you can have a chat with your boyfriend, just be back in ten minutes." The collegue who I spoke to earlier said. Perfect now she has no excuse. Courtney gave the worker a look which she did not notice as she carried on cleaning the tables.

COURTNEY'S P.O.V.

As soon as I saw the phone, I realized why Louis wanted to speak to me. This is not going to end well, but I still followed him out of the front doors and onto the sidewalk. I looked up from me feet, into Louis' eyes which were nearly pitch black. The look of pure evil and it was directed at me.
