Last night was her sleepover with her California friends, and let's just say it ended in us together. So I woke up this morning and Dove was sleeping cuddled into my side. She is so cute!! Anyways I check my phone and see that my mom texted to be home at 9:00. It's currently 8:45. So I slowly let go of Dove and went to the bathroom to get dressed. I combed my hair, and wrote a letter to stick on Dove's phone so she would see it when she woke up. I put it on her phone and put on my sneakers. I walked back over to Dove, kissed her forehead, and left.

~Jacobs House~
J: Hey mom, hey dad, I'm home.

JM: Morning buddy, I'm in the kitchen making eggs.

JD: Hey son.

JM: So what'd Dove say when you got there?

J: Well, her California friends were at her house so we all hung out, they are all fans...

JM: Okay.

J: Mom, Dad, can I tell you guys something?

JM/JD: Go ahead.

J: Well, I finally asked Dove to be my girlfriend..

JM: Alright, you've been wanting to ask all week. What'd she say?

J: Well.................... I'm going on a date with Dove!!

JM: I'm so proud of you... Your first girlfriend.

JD: Son, you do know to treat a lady with respect right?

J: Yes dad, you've told me a thousand times... Well I'm going to text her and ask if she wants to go for a walk in the park tonight... That's where I'll have a picnic set up, I'll even have her friends help.

JM: Okay, I'll call you in a minute for breakfast..

D: Hey Jacob, I got your note.
J: yeah, so I was wondering if you wanted to go for a walk in the park tonight.
D: ummm sure why not
J: okay, can I have your friends numbers?
D: sure why?
J: idk, I wanna know what to buy you...
D: lmao okay, but only bc your cute.
J: haha, thanks.

I then decided to form a group chat with her friends in it. This is where the planning comes in.

J: okay, so I texted Dove and asked if she wants to go for a walk in the park tonight. I need you guys to help me set up a beautiful picnic on the beach by the park. Then you'll help me impress her. What do you think, will she like it?

JM: Jacob honey, breakfast is ready.

J: K mom, I'll be down in a minute.

I grabbed my phone and went downstairs where the air was filled with the smell of pancakes and bacon... God I love my moms cooking..

J: Hey mom, I texted Dove and I'm picking her up at 5. I have to set everything up with her friends so we are meeting at 3. I have to leave the house around 2:30.

JM: okay sweetie.

J: Mom, I'm too old for that.

JM: Nuh-uh, you'll always be my baby boy.

J: ew mom gross, your so lucky nobody is around.

JM: Oh, you'll live...

I need to get ready to go so I walked from my room to the kitchen where I packed a picnic basket. I had my mom go to the store to buy the candles and lights we will hang up for her. I'm getting a little nervous but I text her friend saying I'm ready to go.
