Hook

I can read you like a book

But I chose not to

Discovering clues like captain hook

Sailing the sea so blue

-

But the sea's not blue it's black

Hook's teeth were full of plack

He'd carry is rugged old sack

On his slouchy overgrown back

-

Fairytales full of lies

Humans can't really fly

If peter jumped he'd die

Not float on the motherfucking sky

-

But that's what they want you to believe

By trusting, what do you achieve?

Listen to the wind, the rustling leaves

And find your own reality

-

Although I don't believe in the sithe

Once upon a time, lions were myths

Not that I'm saying who to side with

Don't stick to you're first claim, for I'm on my fifth.

-

But be careful who you trust

Paths full of invisible dust

Wind that doesn't come in gusts

Love that doesn't come with lust

-

Misleading is still leading

My heart not here, but beating

Out somewhere, I'm leaving

To find golden eyes so deceiving

-

I may not be a believer

I know Peter's probably dead

But I'm sure as hell no deceiver

So I'll follow the path he's lead
