I have been with the institute for a few days now and have started to see my powers as a gift. The Professor found the other mutant he was looking for and her name is Kitty. She and I have become good friends since she arrived. I have started school and it turns out I am very smart. I share a room with Jean who has become like a big sister to me. Turns out Storm is a woman named Ororo. Scott and Logan have been training me to become a member of the X-men. Kurt okay when he isn't stuffing his face.
Now week later on a weekend the Professor discovers an other mutant and decides to assemble the full team. So we all suit up and got into the jet which Scott was teaching Kurt to fly. Mine was blue and yellow with no gloves my hair in a ponytail when it is usually down. My normal clothes were dark blue jeans, white crop top and black sneakers.

I'm sitting beside Jean with Kitty behind us. "Scott seems so like together you know" Kitty tells Jean and I. "And he's kinda of cute" she adds smiling.
"True, but he isn't my type" I tell Kitty.
"Cute? Stiff maybe, exacting definitely. But you know from a certain angle" Jean says tilting her head making me giggle.
"Jean and Scott sitting in a tree" I start to sing and Jean hits my arm lightly. We all laugh and when we heard a pop. I looked up to see Kurt outside on the front part of the jet while Scott continues flying the plane looking shocked. Kurt then started hurtling into the windscreen when he teleported again and ended landing on Kitty scaring her. He seems to do that often. He did the same thing after Logan gave us a demonstration on the institute security.
"Kurt the jet is no place to play around you scared Kitty" the Professor tells him sternly. Kitty changed seats after Kurt had apologized. We soon landed and got into a rented car. Logan drove us to the local hospital where Jean pretended to be a nurse. As a boy named Cody was our key to finding the Rogue. But the Professor needed someone inside to be able to get a connection.
When we found out where the boy lives we went there and separated into two teams. I was with Logan, Kurt and Kitty when we found Rogue. She seemed to be terrified of Logan, I understand that he's pretty intimidating to those who do not know him. So he told Kurt to go after the Rogue with his watch on as not to scare. He then told him to keep an eye on 'half-pint' (Kitty) before telling me to follow him back to the other group.
We reached a wall and I heard the Professor say "now our problem is how to find the girl."
"Try ten gardens due west, Kurt is trying to keep her from bolting" Logan states as he jumped over the fence.
I do the same glare at him as I breathed heavily. "Honestly Wolverine I have had legs for only a few weeks" I grumble. Just then the professor got a message from Kitty using his telepathy. "Great more running" I state as Logan went to retrieve Kurt and Kitty. While the professor had me go with Jean, Scott and Storm.
Professor X guided us with his telepathy and I got to the graveyard where Rogue was first with Jean. We looked at each and stepped forward slowly so not to startle the girl. "Hi" Jean says with her hands behind her back.
"That's the best you got Jean?" I ask disappointed. "Hello I'm Aquata nice to met you" I tell the girl with a smile.
"Do I know you two? All these memories, I'm so confused" Rogue states holding her head closing her eyes.
"Yeah I know and can relate with want you are going through" Jean tells her gently.
"Jean, you're Jean Grey and Aquata. You're just like the others" Rogue states standing backing away from us.
"Relax if you know who we are then you know we won't hurt you" Jean says holding her hands up in surrender.
"She's right besides this is my first time here" I tell Rogue. "Looks it's tough to go it solo, I know because I was alone my whole life. Until I met Jean and the others" I explain.
"She's right, zero pressure but if you ever want to talk. You can reach us anytime with this communicator" Jean explains. Then uses her telekinesis to give Rogue one of our spare communicators which she took.
"Latest fashion accessory ha?" Rogue asks with a small smile. I heard two sets of footsteps behind us. Storm's voice said 'we all have one' and Rogue looked at her terrified. "You no, you won't take me" Rogue states before running off.
"No wait" Scott calls trying to follow her, but trips over his own feet.
"I don't get it" Jean states in confusion.
"Same here, we were connecting then..." I trailed off looking at Storm.
"Then she saw me, for some reason she is afraid of me" Storm states placing a hand on her heart looking disheartened and confused.
"Well she looks pretty bet and couldn't have gone far" Scott states wiping the mud off himself.
"He's right lets split up and search the cemetery" I state and run off. I couldn't find her and when I found the others. Storm was unconscious and it began to rain. I looked up to see Rogue hovering above us as I turned into a mermaid. "Great just great" I grumble and try to dry myself. But because of the rain I could not and I saw Jean trying to shield herself along with Scott using her telekinesis.
"Those power lines if they hit the water Storm and Aquata will fry" Scott tells Jean. He grabs Storm and Jean lifts us all into the air as the power lines hit the water.
"I can't keep us up here for long" Jean states.
"To much power can't control it" Rogue states teleporting away. The rain, wind and lighting stopped & Jean lowered us to the ground. She had put me on dry ground and I was able to dry myself to become human again. Just then the others arrived with Logan carrying an unconscious Kurt.
"Want do you think happened to Rogue Professor?" I ask standing up.
"She's gone somewhere, her minds a jumble I can't trace it" he tells us. "But I strongly suspect the hand of another at work here" he states. Logan then smells the air he has a really good sense of smell.
"Mystic, she can change her appearance but not her scent" he states. Just then Kurt starts to wake and he puts him down. Kitty was overjoyed and hugged Kurt's arm saying 'easy there fuzzy elf.' I giggled at the new nickname.
"I know one thing Professor" I state. Everyone looks at me with a raised eyebrow. "We'll see Rogue again and she'll be on our side in the end" I explain.
"You're probably right Aquata, but she must come of her own free-will" Professor tells me. "First we must attend to our own" he states as Storm wakes up also. Jean and Scott help her stand as she shakes her head. We all went back to the Black bird and Scott flew us home.
