Listen to your heart

You know what hurts the most? Falling in love with someone, who doesn't even acknowledge or perhaps, oblivious that a such a feeling that you hold for her exists?

Yes, that had happened to me, and no matter how hard I try to ignore these feelings. It's always me finding myself falling for her more, but yet I'm the one who's getting hurt.

"Elicchi," Nozomi walks over to the quarter Russian, who was busy gazing at the (h/c)ed girl from afar, whom was arguing with her soon-to-be leader. Eli jumped as Nozomi tapped her shoulder."Nozomi!" She yelp in surprise, and faced the shorter girl.

"You were staring at y/n-chan for a awfully long time, I almost thought you were a statue."

Nozomi jokes, the blue-eyed girl's cheeks turn red at her words. She sighed and glance over at you, who was now being tackled by Honoka.

"You're so pure and innocent, y/n-chan! It's so cute!"

"H-hey, what do you mean by that, Honoka-chan? Please get off of me!"

Fist clenching slightly, a small sigh fell from her lips once again, as jealousy sparks within in her."Instead of being all grumpy, maybe you should just confess." Nozomi giggles, also watch the duo rustling around with each other.

Eli starts walks over to them, ignoring the squealing and pleas."What do you two think you're doing?" She asks firmly, a notch of sternness in her voice."um. .play fighting?" you stammered, making contact with her icy blue eyes.

The student council quickly broke the contact, and peered over at Honoka."You two—follow me." She orders, gesturing the two with her firm glare.

By now, Honoka was already off you and offered you a hand. You grinned widely, taking her hand, and then she helped you with apologetic smile.

You were now in the student council's office, with Honoka, getting lecture by the student council president."So do you understand, not to play fight in the hallways?"

"We won't do it again, promise!"

"Yep, I understand."

Eli nods, signaling that their time was done, and they can finally."y/n stay here for a moment." You paused, as Honoka gets out of seat, and leaves the room."Good luck, y/n-chan!" She whispers and slams the door shut, leaving the two you alone in the awkward silence.

"You know why I stopped you here, right?" She asks softly, as she gets out her seat and walks over to you, her blue eyes softening."Uh, no?" With a small sigh, she puts a finger under your chin.

Her lips pursed as she glanced at your pink lips and then back at your confused shiny (e/c) eyes."I-I love you." She confess, looking down at you with hopeful eyes.

"Um, I like you too? If that's what you meant."

The taller girl frowned at your bland words."What do you mean by like? It's that how you feel? Are there any special feelings, or you're just saying that?" She pulls away, with a slight look of hurt.

You shrugged nonchalantly, but you felt a small tingle inside your heart."well you said you loved me as a friend right? Wait— why do you look so sad all of a s-" before you can finish your sentence, a soft knock was heard.

Eli sighs heavily and looks at you, her face was now back to the expression when she lecturing you and Honoka.

"You can leave now."
