Chapter 73

Brandie's pov 

The doctor who did my surgery walked into the hospital room I was in. He flipped some papers before his head jolted up. I gave him a sheepish smile and he walked out. 

I started laughing and everyone just looked at me. Pete and Ashlee suddenly ran in, the doctor walking in behind them shaking his head. Ryan came in soon after, and they all started yelling at me. I yelled back cause I'm a smart ass, and that just made shit worse. 

Finally after going in and out, and doing a lot of painful shit to my leg, the doctor finally yelled, 

"Okay listen!" 

We all turned to look at him and he sighed before continuing, "Looks like she has a fractured shin. She needs to stay off her leg for the next 2 weeks." I hung my head and Pete asked, 

"Can I bring her home for those 2 weeks?" 

Coach chuckled before replying, "I can pull some strings." 

After Pete and Ashlee thanked him, and I got a brace I was handed crutches. I hate these things. They make your arm pits hurt. It's really uncomfortable too. 

Soon it was just me, Pete, and Ashlee in the room. Ashlee and I were talking about what we're going to do while I'm home. Apparently I'm better then her real sister and she likes spending time with me more. I don't know how to feel about that. I love Ashlee and everything but I'm not good with sisters. Deffinately not since her....I don't know how to be a sister. 

Pete watched us in aw and I couldn't help it. I finally turned to him and asked, 

"Okay what?" 

"You guys act more like sisters then Ashlee and Jessica do. You click. And it's nice to see the 2 important girls in my life acting like sisters. Because soon you will be in a way."  I gave him a heart felt look before saying, 

"Okay hug time!" 

Ashlee hugged me, and instead of joing our hug Pete started tickling me laughing, 

"Ha ha! You're crippled so you can't do shit!" 

I punch his arm saying, "I can do more then you think jackass!"
