"Many years ago there was a war between foxes and Rabbits, The wolfs liked to eat the Rabbits so they became angry at the foxes, ever since then foxes and Wolfs hated each other" The maid explained. "But how can that be true? my father was a wolf" Leo asked. The maid stared at Leo in fear. "You mean... You're the half-breed?" She asked as she cowered in fear.
Leo Stared at the maid "Why?" He asked. "Why? Don't you know what you are?" She asked. Leo just kept staring at her. "Kid, listen to me... You're the rarest breed in all time, you're really meant to be a slave. if you don't get out of here now, They'll ki-" The maid got cut off by a guard "Is he done yet?" the guard asked. "Go, run!" The maid let Leo go.
Leo ran through the gate leading to the Forrest, he kept running until he hit something and fell down "What was that?" Leo heard a man say, "It's a fox" Another one said. Leo opened his eyes "Humans.." His ears went down and his eyes widened. "Whoa! did that fox just talk?" A man asked. Leo stared at them. One went to pick him up, Leo couldn't move so he just let the man. Leo looked into the man eyes.
"My name is Hyuk" The man said, "Leo..." Leo answered. "Whoa this is so cool, I'm talking to a fox!" Hyuk yelled, "Don't be so loud! they'll find me!" Leo jumped out of Hyuk grip and hid behind him. "What? Did you steal something?" Hyuk asked, "No, it's the wolfs" Leo said. Hyuk looked at the men that were by him. "Oh this is Ken, Hongbin, and N" Hyuk said.
"Can we take him home?" Ken asked excitedly. The men looked at the fox waiting for an answer. "W-Where do you live?" Leo asked. "We'll show you, here" Hyuk put his arm out asking to pick Leo up. Leo allowed Hyuk to pick him up and they took him to a cabin in the middle of the Forrest. "We live here because we got kicked out of our old house" Hongbin explained.
Leo jumped out of Hyuk's grip again and sniffed the place. "Can I really stay with you guys?" Leo asked in a scared gentle voice. They nodded, Leo was happy but scared at the same time.
'Is this really safe?' Leo thought. Hyuk took Leo to his room, "You can sleep here" Hyuk said. Leo hesitantly walked over to the bed and climbed up on it. "You're really pretty, you know that?" Hyuk asked. Leo just glared at him, "So why are you running from the wolfs?" Hyuk asked. Leo looked down, "I'm a half breed.." Leo said as he laid down.
"You mean the rare half-breed?" Hyuk asked, as he sat next to Leo. "Yeah" Leo answered. "Is that why you can talk?" Hyuk asked. "No, all the animals in the World can talk. We just don't like to because humans would treat us differently" Leo explained. Hyuk looked at Leo, "What makes you any different from them, though?" he asked. "What do you mean?" Leo answered with a question. "Foxes and wolfs are not different, they just have different appearances" Hyuk explained.
Leo looked into Hyuk's eyes, "I still have to run from them because they'll never understand" Leo said. "Don't be trying to take my boyfriend" Hongbin walked in and said jokingly. Leo stared at them, "Boyfriend? Oh, you must be happy" Leo said kindly. Hyuk and Hongbin smiled, "Do you like somebody?" Hongbin asked, as he sat on the other side of Leo. "No, not really. but there was this wolf that was always kind to me. But I think he just wanted me to eat because he doesn't want Furs to think badly of him" Leo explained.
Hyuk looked at Hongbin, "But is that was he was really doing? Maybe he was being nice for a reason" Hyuk said. Leo fell asleep, "Maybe we should leave him" Hongbin said, as he took Hyuk out of the room, shut off the light and shut the door.
Morning..
Leo woke up, being blinded by the sunlight. He smelt something good, but he realized that he couldn't get out of the room. "u-umm... excuse me.. can I be let out?" Leo asked. When nobody answered he laid down by the door, "I have to pee..." Leo pouted.
a few hours went by when Hyuk walked in, "oh, were you waiting for someone to open the door?" Hyuk asked. Leo looked at him and then ran to the bathroom, "Where do I pee? This bathroom isn't like any others!" Leo panicked. Hyuk put down a doggy pad, "Go there."
Leo stared at Hyuk for him to leave the room. When Hyuk left the room Leo went on the doggy pad.
Leo walked out of the bathroom and went into the front yard. He was smelling the flowers when he heard something getting closer to him from behind. Leo started shaking, He pretended to smell the flower again. Hyuk looked outside the window, "Leo!" He yelled. Leo's body stopped, he couldn't move. The thing behind him got closer and closer until finally, it was right next to Leo.
Leo lost feeling in his legs and fell. Hyuk ran out of the house, "What are you doing? get away from Leo!" Hyuk yelled. "I just wanted to see him again" When Leo heard that voice his heart felt like it broke. Leo quickly turned around and saw him...
