Chapter 13

Hello dear subscribers... thank you for reading this story. And again sorry for the late update. I hope you will like this update although it's a little bit dramatic. But really sometimes it has to rain before the rainbows could come out kekekeke... I hope to hear your comments because it really inspires me to write more knowing that you like how the story is going. Well enjoy reading even if this update is a little short.

After taking Yuri home, he drove around trying to clear his head. He's really confused and jealous of seeing Joong Ki and Ji Hyo dating. For the first time, he now acknowledge his feelings and as much as he loves Joong Ki as well, he was really hurt when they saw them together. 

It took him a lot of courage to finally accept what is inevitable. He loves Ji Hyo and it scared him so much. He contemplated on pursuing Yuri so he could forget Ji Hyo but realized it will be unfair to both girls. Yuri is nice, beautiful and funny but she's just isn't her, his Ji Hyo. 

He was driving for an hour now when he decided to drive by her house just to see if Joong Ki took her home already. He park his car in front of her house. He could see a light from her room. 

"Why do things have to change? Why can't we just go back to the way we were before?" He told himself while looking at her window. But he knows it was already too late. He could sense the change, the awkwardness between them and it's breaking his heart knowing that things will never be the same again.

He decided to call her celphone but it just keeps on ringing until finally it cuts off. He bowed his head on the steering wheel and just close his eyes for awhile. He could feel the pulsing headache from all the thinking and stress. He looked up to her window again and saw her leaning on the closed glass. He tried calling again.

Hearing her voice as she answers brings a lot of emotions in him especially when he realized she was crying. 

"I'm sorry for hurting you Ji Hyo..." he kept repeating on his head while talking to her. He knew that somehow he hurt her and he was angry with himself because he promised he would never make her cry. 

He was crying openly now. He was a wreck at the moment, hearing Ji Hyo's plead for him to not forget about her if ever he decided to pursue anyone. It disturbs him and realized the truth.... he really has no chance with her and she only saw him as his best friend. 

He tried accepting the truth because it will make her happy but deep inside he was dying already. So he cried and cried not caring if she heard him. They were both crying anyway but he is sure for different reasons.

"I love you Ji Hyo..." He told her before hanging up the phone. He cried while watching her in the window crying as well. Maybe he needs to just tell her that he loves her as a woman and not just as a friend. But he doesn't think he could bear hearing her rejection face to face. 

He stays there in his car letting his emotions out for once. The rain suddenly came, slowly at first then came pouring just like his tears that seems to never end. It seems corny but she was his first love, maybe his only love and losing the girl you've been all your life really hurts like hell.

He drove his car again with no destination in mind. He came up with a decision while driving around. 

"It is for the best." He says of his decision. 

Maybe he was distracted or because of the pouring rain but he suddenly lose his control of his car and before he could try to correct his mistake, his car hit a nearby tree. The impact left him disoriented at first until he finally  succumb to darkness.

Ji Hyo was beyond herself with grief. She can't believe just what happened. She eventually fallen asleep crying on the floor when a sudden ringing woke her up. Her head hurts from being so emotional and her eyes puff from her crying. She heard the ringing again and answered it.

"Yeoboseyo?"

"Why in the world aren't you answering your phone Ji Hyo? Nevermind just come quickly, we are all here at Holy Cross Medical Center. Palli." Jae Suk was frantic on the phone but before she can ask who was in the hospital, Jae Suk already hangs up.

"What the hell? What's happening? Could it get any worst?" She had one hell of a day and it just keeps on getting worst.

She showered first knowing how messed up she looks at the moment and then immediately went to the hospital as soon as she's ready. 

While driving, a lot of things came to her mind. She's having a headache from thinking of so many things. Her conversation with Kwang Soo kept on replaying in her mind. She knows whatever awaits at the hospital is important and that she needs to hurry but she just can't forget how sad Kwang Soo is when they were talking. 

"Is it possible...?" But no it can't be, yes he always treated her with care and she knows he loves her just like she cares and loves him too. But she can't understand why they are this hurt when they should both be happy and supportive with each other that finally they seem to find a possible partner. But instead they were both this heartbroken and confused and.... yes jealous...

She thought about it once more and realized she was hurt not because she thought Kwang Soo was dating behind her back but because she is jealous to know that he found someone else apart from her, Someone who could possibly make him happier than she can make him and that's what's making her miserable. She had to admit it, that her feelings for him isn't what she thought it was but something more....

"Gods.... I am in love with Kwang Soo..." She said aloud with wonder on her voice and with it was acceptance.

She set aside her overwhelming feelings for now since she realized she just arrived at the hospital.

"I will deal with this feeling after..." She told herself and then hurriedly enter the hospital. She takes her phone to call Jae Suk when she saw him sitting near the Emergency Room with his head bow down.

"Ya Jae Suk, what happened? Why did you just hang up the phone without even telling me what happened." 

Jae Suk was startled and looked up. She immediately stop from her track when she saw that Jae Suk was crying.

"Oh Ji Hyo..." He stood and hug her really tight.

" What's wrong? You are scaring me." She suddenly felt her heart accelerated and she was nervous all of a sudden.

She then saw the rest of her friends going out from the ER and they all look worried and agitated. They all looked at her somberly and it hit her then when he saw Joong Ki made his way to her with tears in his eyes.

"Oh no don't.... " But Joong Ki just embrace her tightly and she broke down crying again.

"Ji Hyo.... it's Kwang Soo...."
