"Yaa you two, where have you been? What took you so long?" Jong Kook ask as soon as he saw both Ji Hyo and Kwang Soo entering the basement. They have already eaten snacks prepared by the maids of Kwang Soo.
"You know how Ji Hyo is, as soon as her back lays on her bed, she fell asleep at once and it will be hard to wake her up." Kwang Soo answered then sit on the couch and munch on some of the remaining snacks.
"Look who's talking. I was the one waking you. You were even drooling on my bed and I had to tap you a dozen times to wake you up." Ji Hyo said defensively then sit beside him and Jong Kook on the couch.
Jong Kook give her some snacks at once and rest his arm at the back of the couch were she sat.
"So you guys are back at sleeping together again huh." Suk Jin slyly teased them. Gary almost choke on the juice he was seeping when he heard what Suk Jin said.
"Yaa hyung what nonesense are you implying. Don't mistook Ji Hyo to the girls who sleeps with you on your first date. She isn't like that." Gary said abruptly.
"What the hell are you saying Gary. I was just teasing. Of course Ji Hyo is different from just any girl. I just like to make fun of them." Suk Jin said heatedly. He just felt like Kwang Soo and Ji Hyo look good together and are closest to each other that he often wonder if they develop a deeper feelings with each other.
That's why he likes to teased them but Ji Hyo seems to have no reaction all the time and don't seem to care at all while he could sense that Kwang Soo becomes uncomfortable and evasive all the time. And he never miss his chance to make him uncomfortable because it was too damn funny.
"Chill out Gary, we all know Ji Hyo would never like Kwang Soo like that and she's not some other girl okay." Jae Suk interrupted before it escalated into a fight.
"Why can't Ji Hyo like me? I mean it's not that I like her like that but what makes you think that she wouldn't see me as a man?" Kwang Soo reacted indignantly. He knows that Ji Hyo is too good to deserve any guys but hey he thinks that a girl he will love will be lucky to have him.
"Yaa cut it out guys. And Kwang Soo... you wish." Ji Hyo said then laugh out loud. Kwang Soo was blushing so much he excuse himself and went to his room upstairs to compose himself.
"Poor Kwang Soo always being bullied by all of us. Anyway, change topic. Do you have any idea what Haha is doing this past days? He bails out on us a few times already." Jae Suk curiously ask. He looks around but no one seems to have any idea what Haha is up to.
"I have an idea but I don't want to make any assumptions just yet. Let's just wait for him to tell us when he is ready." Ji Hyo said.
She knows Byul is somehow the reason with Haha's being busy. But it isn't her place to tell anything since she doesn't know the exact story behind.
Kwang Soo returned shortly with 2 boxes of pizza. He looks fresh from the shower.
"Ji Hyo, your mom just called. They won't be back until tomorrow. They are with my parents in HongKong for a business meeting. You want to stay to sleep?" He asked her after handing out the boxes to Suk Jin.
"I don't bring any clothes but I'll think it over."
"Maybe I'll just sleep here too Kwang Soo." Jong Kook said suddenly. He is the only one not eating the pizza since it is packed with a lot of calories that it will take him a lot of push ups to burn them.
"Yeah sure, you can just share room with me or use the guest room. Ji Hyo will use the guest room across mine if she sleeps here." He said nonchalantly.
"Anyway, Gary what do you think of Ji Hyo's friend Seolhyun? She's obviously into you. I heard you asked her to join us for snack." Suk Jin ask him with his mouth full of pizza.
"Yaa hyung I'm just trying to be polite to her since she is Ji Hyo's friend. But I don't have the slightest interest in her." Gary glance quickly at her and just quietly eats his pizza.
"Don't give her any false hopes. If you like her make sure to treat her right or else I'll beat you to death. Arasso? She is the only female friend I have." She glared at Gary. He looks at her with frustration and just shakes his head and continue to sulk on his chair.
Ji Hyo was confused with Gary's reaction and when she looks at the other boys they were all looking at Gary with sympathy.
"Yaa what's with all your expressions? Did I say something wrong? I'm just protective of her just like I am with all of you and also with Dong Wook."
"Why do you always have to mention that jerk. I don't know why you are friends with him. He just wants to get close to you because he likes you. As if he deserve someone like you." Kwang Soo said irritably. He really dislike that guy.
"It's quite obvious that he is head over heels in love with you as if he stands a chance. Why don't you just tell him you don't like him." Jong Kook for the first time agrees with Kwang Soo.
Although they are the closest among the guys, they have opposite personality. He likes order and he is a little OC. He also likes to plan ahead and maintains a healthy lifestyle while Kwang Soo is messy with his things and disorganized. He is also impulsive and immature. And most of all he eats a lot of junk and unhealthy food.
"Dong Wook is my friend like the rest of you. He is smart and loyal. You always think that guys like me just because they are nice. Don't misinterpret him. He always treats me as a good friend and he is just a gentleman so just leave him alone okay."
She is irritated with how overprotective they are to her. Every guy that wants to be her friend or just approach her, they always assumed that they have hidden motives. They all end up being threatened or bullied by all the Running Man.
The boys just look at each other with disbelief. She really is so naive when it comes to men. Of course they knew how most of the guys in school likes her and none of them deserve her. So they make sure none of them ever get close to her. Dong Wook is the only exception because he somehow got Ji Hyo's trust.
Before any of the boys could voice out their opinions, someone interrupted them.
"Oh I didn't know you are all here. The maid told me that Kwang Soo is here."
They all turn to look at the newcomer. Ji Hyo can't believe he is here. She is speechless because she haven't seen him for a long time.
"Yaa Jong Ki, what brings you here?"
