Phoenix Complex

Arjun was sitting in his room, eating noodles. The last three days went as dry as possible. Suddenly the calling bell rang. He went and opened it. Outside, Nikhil and Sara are standing. Arjun froze at the sight of Sara.

‘Don’t you ask us to come in?’ Nikhil asked him.

Oh… I’m sorry. Come in.’ they went inside and made themselves comfortable on the sofa. Sara get up and went near the kitchen to do any work for him.

Arjun sat next to Nikhil and asked him,’ anything important?’

‘Yes. Sara wanted to see you. So I brought her here.’

‘I am asking about our case.’

‘Oh Yeah. The file from Prem Kumar house is an important evidence in our case. You know what a metamaterial is?’

‘No.’

‘It is an object that bends light. So literally saying, no one can see through it. They have stolen the prototype. They have produced many using that. And that’s why they are using it to become invisible.’

‘So he is murdered for this prototype.’

‘Exactly. He is killed on 29/01/2016 at 11:00 pm. The theft took place on 02/02/2016.’

‘Good. Let’s check Park Street once more. Also investigate the people around his house. Maybe we can get a lead.’

‘Ok. See you. Sara, are you coming with me?’

‘No problem. She can stay here.’

‘Ok then bye.’ Both Arjun and Sara said goodbye to him. Nikhil walked out of the house with a satisfaction in his mind
