2nd New Street

Bagbazar

Arjun arrived the place in his bike. The street looks very empty. Many houses looks destroyed. The normal houses are closed. No wonder why they call it as “haunted street”. He looked around to find the house. Then he found the bike standing there near a house. He clearly identified that as the criminal’s place.

He went near the bike. He took a small piece of magnet that is stuck to the rear side of the bike. He left it in the same place. Images of himself shooting a mini GPS tracker to the bike came across his mind. He is very confident of not missing him this time.

He waited for few moment. Then he entered the house. The house looked dark even in the morning. It is very silent. There is no sign of any person in the house.

He walked further inside the house. He could feel that someone was inside the house. He rubbed his nose. Suddenly, he get the same fish smell. He understands that the wanted person is in the house. They have set the dummy corpse to divert them. He thought. He walked further. While going, a humming voice is audible. A room was at the foremost corner of the house. He opened it. A man was tied in a chair. He was left half conscious. Arjun tried to wake him up. He woke up after a few pat on his face. He looked at Arjun, surprisingly.

‘I know you are one of them. I know about your disease. I also know why they have tied you. I need to know only one thing. Just tell them where are they. Then I assure you will be freed.’

But he was not willing to talk. He was just staring at Arjun. Arjun asked him in a calm way. But he didn’t response. Arjun lost his patience. He grabbed his shirt and said,’ Listen, you bastard. I am gonna ask the last time. Answer me. Otherwise, I’m gonna kill you.’

While he was speaking, a bullet pierced through his head and killed him instantly. Arjun left there with no clue.

He looked out of the window, but no one is there. He quickly left the place. He returned to Nikhil’s room in the hospital. He was much tensed.
