The dead body looks very ugly. It was half burned. The face and half of upper body is burned. They both looks very disappointed and terrified.
Arjun knelt down to the ground to get a good look of the corpse. The smell was nauseating. He called down Nikhil to show something.
‘Definitely, it is a murder. See, these are some scratch marks. Maybe, they have used a knife. And look down there at the floor, blood drops. And finally they have burned him.’
‘Yes, I think so. They have killed their own men. That means they know we are investigating this case.’
‘Yes. Okay call ambulance. We have to do the post mortem.’
‘Okay. I will call now. You just search the house if we can get any evidence.’
Nikhil went near the door to make a call. Arjun was walking through the house in search of evidence. He looked everywhere. Nikhil returned to the house.
‘I have called the ambulance. And also the department.’
Arjun was not listening. He was looking at something.
‘Nikhil, look. A hidden camera. Wonder why he have it here.’
He gave it to Nikhil and went near the corpse. After a few minutes, he stood up and turned towards Nikhil.
‘Nikhil, give me his file.’
‘Here’ he gave the file. Arjun checked something and looked at Nikhil.
‘This is not the person we’re searching for.’
‘What are you saying?’
Suddenly from nowhere, a bullet shot was heard inside the house. Arjun looked outside. A man wearing a mask stood there in a bike. He is having a piston in his hand. He ran away, after looking at them.
