Cormac Street
People are standing around the burnt house. Fire service vehicles have arrived there after a few minutes. The fire service persons are coming down to extinguish the fire. Sara was sitting in the opposite house. Arjun was standing outside that house. Nikhil came there with a third person.
‘Arjun, this is inspector Suraj Dixit. He will help us in this case. Suraj, this is Arjun.’
Suraj turned towards Arjun.
‘Nice to meet you, Arjun.’
‘Hello, Suraj Sir.’
‘Do you know who planted this bomb?’
‘I saw a person doing something near my house. I didn’t see his face clearly.’
‘Are you sure he is the one?’
‘Yes. He ran after I saw him.’
‘Are you suspecting anyone?’
‘I’m not suspecting. I am very sure it is the head of the gang who have done the 13 thefts in Kolkata.’
‘Are you sure?’
‘Yes. He called me. He also said that we both have met. But I don’t know where or when we both have met. I’m sure he will not stop torturing us. I need safety for my Sara. Could you please arrange security for her?’
‘Of course, Arjun sir. From now on, we need to track calls coming for you. If he calls another time, you get to inform us.’
‘Definitely.’
‘Don’t worry, Arjun sir. We will catch him.’
‘Thank you, Suraj Sir.’ Then Suraj left the place.
