PART - 24

 Arjun got angrier at the sight of the man. He fierce fully went outside and snatched a bike from a stranger and started chasing him. Nikhil went out of the house shouting’ wait! Wait!’ He got up on his jeep and started following Arjun.

        It was very difficult for Nikhil to drive fast in the narrow streets of Sonagachi. He somehow got outside and he found himself in the main road. After looking outside for few minutes, he identified Arjun. He is racing like a mad dog behind that man.

      The unknown man was driving very fast among the traffic. But Arjun didn’t took his eyes of him. He followed him very keenly. He was escaped narrowly from a Land Cruiser.

The man inside shouted,’ Hey! Watch where you’re going.’

Arjun ignored it and just concentrated on following the man. Nikhil was right behind them, following. While driving, Arjun had perfectly memorized the plate number. He was continuing to chase as well as the man doesn’t want to stop. A turning was awaited there. The man turned. He took his gun and aimed the target at Nikhil.

Within seconds, he shot at Nikhil right in his chest. Nikhil lost control of the vehicle. The jeep wobbled and rolled over the road like a tin can.

Arjun got angrier and he stopped and took out his long time hidden piston and aimed at him. He shot two times at the man; one on the leg and the other on the right side of the back.

Even though he is shot, he tried not to get caught so somehow he drove the bike and vanished away.

Arjun threw away the bike. He ran toward the jeep to see about the condition of Nikhil. Nikhil was badly hurt. He cried in pain. Arjun lifted him from the jeep. The people surrounded them. Arjun shouted at the people to call the ambulance.

‘Don’t worry, Nikhil. Nothing will happen to you. We will definitely catch him. We’ve got his plate number.’

Nikhil whispered in his ear,’ Never stop.’ Then he closed his eyes and become unconscious. Arjun stood there with fury, as the ambulance came
