A Bond of Friendship

The next day I woke up with everyone in my living room glaring at me with the exception of Bell who gave me the thumbs up " how'd it go ?" she said " fine" I said and Ed lost it on me " what the hell man ! don't you remember him trying to kill you, or have you forgotten!"I visibly flinched at his tone and took a reflexive step back " no.....I-I-I did...did...didn't" he stomped towards me and I was about to go into a panic attack when Tom stood in between us " it may not be his fault " Tom said as Matty ran up to me wrapping his arms around my waist and sobbing uncontrollably " I was so worried! you never answered any of our calls or texts!" I was hit with a wave of gilt "sorry" I said stroking his hair. " What the hell do you mean not his fault !" Ed raged, Bell was getting annoyed with Ed's attitude, so she picked up a magazine, rolled it up and whacked Ed in the back of the head with it "he means its not his fault " she said arms crossed " their mates" both Bell and Tom said, Tom looked at Bell in surprise " how do you know ?" he asked and she pointed over her shoulder at me " he told me and Mr. sexy told him". The room went silent, Sky was the one to break the quiet " what the hell is a mate? i'm assuming you don't mean the British word for friend " he said and Tom shook his head " I mean soul mate, the hunter is Sasha's soulmate, his other half"and they all looked at me " yeah surprised me to ".

"What the hell !" Ed screamed " A soulmate? really, you and Jess are soul mates this piece of shit tried to kill him, and your telling me he is Sasha's true love ? give me a fucking brake !" " Ed calm down " Sky said " no, he's being stupid, he's tried to kill him, if he didn't have that healing factor he would be covered in bruises and cuts or worse from that guy, what are you thinking ? he's going to try to make it work with you !? he's a hunter ! he kills people like you !" " Ed shut up ! " Sky growled" he's going to win you over with sweet words and affection, and when your at your weakest, when you truly fall for him" he paused "well history always repeats itself" Sky was pissed " what if Noah actually loves him hum ?" Sky growled right in Ed's face, without missing a beat Ed said the one thing that could truly brake me, give up hope that there would ever be someone who loves me for who I am instead of what I am " His family loved him too". I didn't realize it at first but I was crying, a flood of tears fell down my face constantly, I didn't say anything or make a sound and the tears kept flowing, I felt numb and empty " you son of a bitch !" Sky said swinging his fist at Eds jaw sending him back into the wall, once again the 2 where at each others throats because of me, Ed stood and punched Sky in the stomach, sky doubled over gasping before standing straight up and uppercutting Ed's lower jaw, this time it was for real, they really were trying to hurt each other, Tom, Bell and Matty tried to break them up, but I couldn't even bring myself to stand to help stop them.

I watched the 2 go at it for several minutes before Bell had enough and kicked both of them in the balls bringing both to a dead stop,  and every other male in the room gave an involuntary shiver " knock it off you dickheads !" she scream " what the hell is wrong with both of you, your best friends, now act like it" Tom said.  " Okay yes he did hurt him" Sky started "and because of that I can honestly say I dislike Noah very much, hell I like Noah as much as you do right know, but what the hell makes you think it's okay to bring Sasha's family into this ? reminding someone with such as affliction as his, the cause of his distress, how cruel can you be Ed?  you don't like him ? that's fine but neither Sasha nor Noah have any control over this, hell we don't even know what this is, the fact of the matter is that Sasha is the one hurting and your not making it any better!" " he's gonna hurt even more if feelings are involved, he's gonna fall head over heels for a guy who tried to kill him because of what fate ? destiny ? the hunters gonna love him the same way?,bull shit you can't fall in love with someone that fast, it doesn't work like that" Ed said " it's an attraction, a pull to each other that if ignored can have disastrous consequences for both sides" Tom said " its not love yet, according to the book they will crave each other's presence, the more they are around each other, the more they get to know each other, then the attraction will turn into love" he said " that's bull !". I finally gathered enough strength to stand and walk out of the room " Sasha where are you going ? " Matty called out but I didn't say anything back just walked into my room and locked the door behind me.
