 Stage 1: Bell

"Alright, thanks, Matty" no sooner had I ended my call with Matty did Sky pull up into the lot, Matty had already hacked into their main server and was watching them via the security cameras, and in some super technological way that I didn't understand, they haven't found him, which knowing Matty, they would never find him, I couldn't help but Smerk, it's showtime.

Grabbing the Wolves claw that I had half-heartedly wrapped a piece of string around, I slipped it over my head, walked out the door, down the fire escape, and throw the exit, where Sky sat, eyes closed, listening to the radio in his car, I slipped into the passenger seat as he opened 1 eye "ready to go?" "born ready".

I couldn't deny that my nerves were running ramped in my chest, I could feel my heartbeat quicken but refuse to show it outwardly, Sasha's little outburst earlier made me realize the full depth of what we were doing, but for all the bullshit this man is put our town through, put us through, and especially put Sasha through, this had to end, and we were going to end it tonight, but damn, the stupid claw is grossing me out!.

Ew, ew, ew, ew!, mentally replayed in my head as the hairs on the back of my neck stood up, and I let out a shiver, dead person's nail, yuck, Sky gave me a curious smile, "are you okay?" "piss off!" I said snapping back at him "you know, I can go in there" he said suddenly serious, "that's not the problem, it's the stupid nail" I said pinching the 2 pieces of string and pulling it off from against my chest "this is nasty!" he let out a laugh "I don't know, I think it kind of suits your rugged exterior" he said on a laugh " yeah, yeah, yuck it up you wise ass".

I slumped back into my chair, feeling a little more relaxed, on a glance into the rearview mirror I noticed an odd assortment of items, black duct tape, a child learn to count, zoo addition dry erase book, a red sharpie, and sticky tack, I jerked my thumb back, " whats that about?" he shrugged " it's a surprise" he said and pulled out a home made C-D out of its case and popping it in t the player, the first song was March of the Valkyries, which he cranked up to max and pulled out of the lot, " dork" I said as we sped down the road, but I had to admit, I was pumped now. 

At the speed Sky was ripping down the highway, it was no surprise that we made it to the station in record time, and those butterflies were back in my stomach, "I really can do this for you" he said "oh stop it" I sighed deeply "but you can do me 1 favor" he raised eyebrow "any words of encouragement?" he closed his eyes and place one finger to his temple in a very animated act.

After an annoyingly long moment, he snapped his fingers "march in there and be that top ass bitch you know you are", I didn't know whether to laugh or smack him, "helpful" I said and he smiled "I'm not as good as Sasha with the pep talk, so leave me alone" "whatever" I said " just don't leave me hanging, alright?" and with that, I got out of the car took a deep breath, and marched toward the front doors.

I walked into the station and was greeted by a few familiar faces, "hey Bellamy!" Henry said as he walked up and gave me a high five, Henry and his partner Alex are the head detectives in the station and worked directly under Jess, "what are you doing here kiddo?"  I smiled "after all this time, Jess just realized that she forgot her extra sim card in her desk", Henry smile faded slightly, "I don't think you should go in there Bell, Silverstein's on a rampage, nobody knows what the hell's wrong with him,  but he's in a hell of a mood lately".

I felt a twinge of nervousness but crossed my arms and gave a cocky smirk "you think he's cranky? try dealing with a pregnant Jess" Henry gave an involuntary shiver "yeah, I'm going to have to give you that 1" I smiled "yeah I'll just go in and out, I won't bother him" Henry not at hesitantly "just watch your step kid" I shrugged "I always do".
