We both walked up to the room. Hoseok grabbed the handle only to find it already unlocked. "What the hell?" He muttered going inside.

It was dark, but pretty roomy. It was clean like no one had touched it.

"There's nothing in here," Hoseok groaned in disbelief. "So I put myself out there for no reason?"

I looked around the room, looking into every small detail.

"Hoseok," I said, thinking back to the guy I saw secretly walking down the stairs. "I saw a guy dressed in clothing like us walking down the stairs when you were talking to the clerk... I think he came in here."

"W-What? Who did you see?" He asked, his tone of voice changing.

"I-I don't know? He was wearing-um-dark clothing and he had had a black cap on," I said, trying my best to remember from the top of my head. "-also, I think he's about your height? I don't know, he was really far away, so I couldn't really see..."

"Do you think I'll be able to persuade her to show us the cameras?" He asked, his dark eyes staring through me.

"Well, you persuaded her and got the keys right?" I replied. "How did you even do it anyways?"

"She could get fired," he slightly laughed, shaking his head. "But lets risk it."

"You want to risk her job? I doubt she'll risk it," I said, crossing my arms. "Your looks aren't gonna make her risk her job."

"Watch me," he grinned widely as he walked out the door.

Holy shits.

I followed him out the door, closing it behind me. Minutes later, he actually persuaded her to take us inside the security room.

"What the hell? Wh-What did you say to her?"

"I gave her my number and told her to call me," he said and winked. "Smart right?"

"No! What if she loses her job?? Is a phone call gonna make her get her job back?" I argued.

"Dang, Haerin. You're not the one risking your job are you? Chill out," he said, scrolling through the tapes. "Without being able to see the cameras, we'll never find my parents."

I groaned, whilst crossing my arms. "Good job," I mumbled.

"What?" He slightly laughed.

"I said good job." I groaned. He looked at me with a giant smile stuck onto his face.

"Why do you keep smiling?" I asked. He shrugged looking away.

"You're a fun partner in crime," he laughed. I arched a brow and hid my smile.

"I did not know that," I said, slightly smiling.

"But," he said. "Does my face not attract you?"

"Uh-what?" I laughed. "I came here to have fun solving a crime, not to be attracted to you."

"Really," he nodded. "Cause you seemed awfully jealous of that clerk, since I gave her my number,"

"What?" I furrowed my eyebrows in disbelief. "I am not jealous."

"You were," he said, shrugging. "Wasn't that why you were so worked up?"

"No, no, no, Hoseok-you got it all wrong-I wasn't jealous-why would I be jealous-I would never be jealous-",

"-found him," he said, cutting me off. "Oh, and I also found you and your jealous little face looking over at me and the clerk,"

I punched him in the arm. "Stopppp," I groaned.

"OWWWW!!!" He exclaimed when I realized I hit him where he got hurt. My jaw dropped as apologized constantly whilst I softly pat his arm.

He looked at me offended before softening his gaze. He clicked his tongue before watching the footage. He zoomed in closer to the guys face. "Shit, we still can't see his face. He covered it up too nicely."

"Follow him out the door," I said.

We watched as he walked out and stopped by the door, waiting for something when a pink haired dude walked up to him, handing him a note. "Thats the guy who beat you up!" I shouted, excitement lighting up inside me.

"What's so exciting about that? I'm still hurt!"

"Because that means they're both a team, which means if we catch him, it'll be easier to find your parents."

I continued watching as he took the note before walking back inside. "What the hell?" Hoseok muttered. We followed him to the front office as he handed the clerk a note. We watched as he explained something to her before leaving.

The clerk got up and walked over to the security room, when we heard a knock on the door. I looked at Hoseok before opening the door.

The clerk handed me the note. "A guy said to give this to you,"

My mouth gaped open and I took it before looking at Hoseok. He stood up. "That guy was just here." I said, my eyes widening. We both ran out of the room and out of the hotel, looking around to see if he was still around.

"Shit, we lost him!" Hoseok shouted in frustration. I opened the note and read what looked like an address.

"Hoseok," I said, tapping him. "Read this,"

He took the note and read it. "Let's go," he said walking to the car. I followed from behind. I got in and he turned the engine on.

"Ready?" He asked looking at me.

I nodded. "Ready."
