Maddison
Aiden takes off running before I realize whats happening. He drags me along behind him quick. Following us are the other four. We take the stairs, skipping the crowds at the elevator. After 8 stories, I'm best and tired, but the others aren't slowing down, so I keep running. Twelve more stories and we finally reach the lobby, still before most of the class. We hurry out the front doors, thanking the receptionist over our shoulders. Bursting out onto the street, we attract lots of glares from people.
"It's the Point Grey kids," one teenaged boy says snootily. I roll my eyes. He stops and stares, looking me up and down slowly and deeply. The other five are trying to figure out where to go. I stand awkwardly as the boy I don't know stares at me. Suddenly, he walks over.
"Hey, pretty lady," he winks, standing too close. I don't blush. He's gross, seeing a girl for the first time and approaching her like this.
"What do you want?" I snap, hoping if I'm not inviting he'll screw off. Instead, he moves closer.
"I want you," he says directly. I stumble back a step, behind Aiden, but the boy follows me, driving me away from the group.
"Go away," I spit.
"Feisty, I like it," he laughs. My eyes widen. I try to get past him back to the group, but he grabs my arm.
"Where do you think you're going?" He hisses, bringing his face close to mine. He can't be older than I am, but his breath reeks of alcohol. Well shit. A drunk teen.
His hand slides across my waist, and I push on his chest, trying to get away. Why do I have to be so damn weak? He tightens his grip and forcefully yanks me closer to him. I groan trying to get out of his hold.
"Why do you want to get away from this?" He snarls, gesturing to himself. Suddenly, out of no where a fist hits his face. He drops me on the ground and stumbles back.
"What the fuck?" The boy coughs. Aiden moves and stands in front of me, curling his hands into fists.
"Get away from her," Aiden growls.
"Who the fuck are you?" The boy spits a few splatters of blood, walking closer.
"None of your business," Aiden snaps.
"Well unless you're her boyfriend then you have no business taking her away from me," the boy bares his teeth, angry. Aiden isn't at all phased.
"What if I am her boyfriend?" He says. I blink. What?
"Are you?" The boy asks.
"Yes," Aiden answers simply.
"What?" I say.
"What?" The other four standing off to the side say.
"What?" The boy says.
"I'm her boyfriend. Now fuck off," Aiden orders. The boy doesn't flinch. Instead he steps closer.
"I want her," he glances past Aiden to stare at me on the ground, his eyes glassed and hungry.
"She's mine. So I'll warn you again, Fuck. Off."
"She won't be yours for much longer. I'm going to get her," the boy snarls. I think he even drooled a little. His eyes never leave my body.
"That girl," Aiden forcefully throws his finger at me behind him, "is my girl. Don't you dare touch her. Or speak to her. Or hurt her. Or even fucking look at her," Aiden growls. I notice his hands curl into fists again. His shoulders rise and he takes a deep breath, clenching and unclenching his hands. I know he could easily hurt this boy, but he clearly looks to be holding himself back. He really looks like he wants to do some damage.
