Maddison

"Ew!" Alexa squeals, beating me to it.

"She took the words right out of my mouth," I say, scooting back and raising my hands in defence.

"Hey, you picked dare," Roxy says, shrugging. A mischievous smile has formed on her lips. I scowl and shoot her a glare.

"Who's it gonna be, Winters?" Aiden asks, leaning down. I can feel his face just centimetres from the side of my head.

"I'm not choosing!" I protest. Roxy smiles.

"Yes you are! Come on!" She urges. I close my eyes.

"Nope," I deny. I curl my knees to my chest and hug them close to me. "I skip. I pass. I chicken out."

"You can't chicken out in real life," Ryan speaks up. I shoot him an angry glare. He blinks and backs up. "Yikes, that one hell of a state you've got there."

"I know, right!" Aiden exclaims. "I noticed that before. It's crazy! You should have seen her when she was fighting with..." Aiden trails off to the hurt look on my face.

Alton. Alton was the end to that sentence.

Don't think about him. You can't miss him.

"Anyways," Julian breaks the awkward silence. "Make up you mind, Maddison."

It's not choosing that's the problem. No, the problem is actually doing it. Heck, I have no problem numbering these boys right now. I mean, they're all attractive as fuck, practically Calvin Klein material, even Julian with his glasses and neat hair, he's got the cute nerdy thing. Ryan has the all around hotness, Wyatt has that new boy charm, and Aiden... Well, Aiden has the mysterious, sexy charisma just radiating off of him at all times.

"We don't have all day, Winters," Aiden says.

It's not at all hard to choose. Aiden is number one. I can't deny that. The other three can fall into any order, but Aiden is hands down, no doubt number one.

But I don't have the confidence to just lean over and kiss him.

Even though you already have, I remind myself, thinking back to the bar. I can't help but grin at the memory.

I have to kiss Aiden, but I can't just kiss Aiden. I can sense his lips hovering right beside my ear. I'm talking millimetres away. All I have to do is turn my head and give him a quick peck on the cheek.

"On the lips!" Roxy nearly shouts.

Shit, I think. Why'd she have to add that? I'm not doing that.

"Gross!" Alexa groans.

"Hey, are you telling me you wouldn't want to kiss me in the lips," Julian pouts to her. They laugh.

"Come on, Maddison. Pick!" Wyatt says, bumping his shoulder into mine.

"Ugh!" I moan. "I can't do it!"

"Ready?" Roxy says, leaning closer.

"3," Ryan counts.

"2," Roxy continues.

"1."

Just do it. Get it over with.

"0."

I don't move. Really, I don't.

Okay, maybe I shifted my head towards Aiden, but I had no real intentions. I didn't initiate it. I swear. He did. Before anyone realized what was happening, Aiden's head had curved downwards towards me and our lips smash together.
