Maddison
Aiden is practically shaking beside me, out of excitement, it seems. Alexa happily bobs her head to agree with the man, who's now taking a seat. He wears grey jeans and black shoes. His white t-shirt is covered by a casual black blazer. He has bright green eyes and chocolate brown hair, cut neatly to not fall in his eyes.
"Hey, Mr T, how were your two months?" A boy across the table asks, leaning back in his seat with his ankle tucked up in his knee. I look to the man at the front of the room that he was speaking to. So this is Mr T.
"Wonderful, thank you Parker," he nods. "Now who wants to start?" His lively eyes scan the room, lingering on me and one other boy for a moment longer.
"Mr Pry! Tell us about your success in Italy," Mr T takes his seat and intently listens to this 'Mr Pry' kid. The boy takes his time to explain how he found and took down a drug dealer in Italy. A long while later, he finishes.
"Thank you, Sean. Now let's rotate through," he points to the next kid, who immediately starts explaining his journeys. Kid by kid, Mr T works his way around the table. It would be boring if each story wasn't so interesting. No one loses focus for the hours we sit in the room. I listen again to Roxy's story, then Ryan, then Julian, then Alexa. When she finishes, Mr T clears his throat.
"Boys and girls, this is one of our new students. Maddison," he waves to me.
"Hi," I say. Everyone responds with a hello of their own.
"Aiden was on a surveillance assignment following subject A-18472. That's Maddison," Mr T explains. He doesn't ask Aiden to explain his assignment, instead only moving on.
"Kyla, tell us about Tanzania," he says. The stories carry on until he reaches the final person.
"Okay guys, this is our other new student, Wyatt Huntington. He's from the south side of America," Mr T clasps his hands into Wyatt's shoulders.
"Hi," the boy mutters. Everyone responds hi in return, me included. I notice that Mr T introduced me, first name only, while he told the class Wyatt's full name.
"Alright, everyone. Sounds like all your trips went successfully. I'm proud of you all. That was your longest assignment yet! Now go on and take your time out. The limos will be leaving at 7. If you're not there we're leaving without you," he says. "Wyatt, Maddison, stay here please. The rest of you, scram," he shoos the class out the door, leaving Wyatt and I alone.
"Alright," he starts. "I'm about to tell you something that chances are, you're not going to believe. Now you've heard all their stories, and you're probably thinking that every one of them could be a great book or movie because they're so exciting. Maybe you didn't believe some of them, maybe you didn't believe any of them, but I'm here to tell you every single one of them was real," he says.
"So why send kids like us on these crazy unreasonable weird missions?" Wyatt asks, his eyes inspecting Mr T.
"Because, Wyatt. That's what we do here at Point Grey Academy," he says.
"What, exactly?" I ask, confused. Mr T looks at me, his bright eyes serious.
"Miss Winters," he starts. "Mr Huntington," he looks at Wyatt. Leaning back, he crosses his arms in front of his chest and tucks his ankle behind the other one. He blinks slowly and a mischievous smile spreads across his face. I shiver. Whatever's coming next is something big.
"Here at Point Grey, you're going to learn how to be a spy."

There was a whole lot of doubt from me, and a whole lot of laughing from Wyatt, but after an hour long lecture about how serious he is, Mr T finally convinced us and let us go. Now I walk down the hall, trying to find room 202 in the grade 11 dorm wing. I'm kind of zoned out honestly, I mean it's a lot to take in. Heck, I'm going to be a spy. Like in the freaking movies. Why? I don't know. For what? Beats me. But I am. I don't know why they'd pick me over any other much more qualified kid across the country, but here I am.
